Re: Rogue

if the replacements are just as bad, I think its safe to say they wont be fixing the problems and you guys should probably get a refund.

I contacted SSC for replacements, Ill see what happens in 5-7 business days. I hope they do the right thing, but something tells me this was already planned and they are just saving face from all the damage done by this factory.

750 pieces and to close the WL that quick is weird. I was on the WL early as well with no convert and I thought that was very odd.

Re: Rogue

I know all about the paint and head problems, but there's no way I'm reading this whole thread. Was there a problem with the jacket also?

Re: Rogue

dont think they made 750, i think they realized during production that employee morale or production sucked and they halted anymore orders.

Hopefully the remaining stock will be re-produced somewhere else for those that request replacements.. i think its obvious that they halted production once they received the samples. its a bit hard for me to accept that they'd try to pull one over on their loyal fanbase by shipping out this crap intentionally ... especially for $300.

its a joke. the insurance policy was probably that they couldnt keep the NRD unless they shipped something... no matter how ____ty. its what they do to make amends that will count. if they ignore the problem, I dont want to buy anything else from them. this is obviously a widespread issue that IMHO they were fully aware of.

On some reg head attachments are either too snug or the jacket doesn't fit at all whenever the reg head is put onto the statue.

I actually read back through the whole thread from where I left off the night before, it jumps almost 50 pages daily :lol don't ask I'm crazy about info that way, most of it is just sift.

Re: Rogue

jacket is missing buttons on some, and also apparently some people didnt receive their prints while others got multiples.. and I didnt even receive a belt.

FU quality control.

Re: Rogue

I'll be contacting SS monday since my girlfriends and mine look awful, hers is worse since there piece of hair missing. i'm to lazy to take a picture tonight since catching up on my last post on this thread made me sleepy :sleep:sleep:sleep.

I've contacted SS live support 3-4 times and they've been wonderful and I will refrain from throwing my feces at them but, I don't really see how they'd lose any money in replacements. If the sweatshop that painted/produce an inferior product, shouldn't they be liable for materials and etc? Don't know how the cycle works but, i'm curious to know.

Also suggest the folks that will be contacting sideshow to also send them link to fuzzy crap app reg head gallery.

IMO and this is just my opinion, Sideshow is either gonna give you guys a full refund or $25-$30 bones to shave. With the Thanos Dio that someone stated in this thread it was a little different. It was a design structure that they had to re-secure, not paint apps, so all they had to do is make some more and cut out a little more styro that was securing the shield and keeping it too snug and secure to where it would break on a certain bounce from being shipped. (a lot of ppl got their Thanos Dio's without a glitch)

This is a huge factory mishap that is happening across EVERY piece. Not just one piece, it looks to be almost every piece. So to do the short math the cost factor to replace every painted piece, is horrific and they would never lose that kind of profit and basically let this ship sink to the bottom if that were to happen.

They are going to play it safe, dummy down the situation, make less as noticeable and hope it goes away. Full return or slight discount is my call on this, if they do a FULL REPAINT of this run I will eat my foot.

Bon Appétit...:lol

Re: Rogue

Ski is probably right. SSC is still a business and they are probably not in it to make friends contrary to their mission statement.

I just worry that they won't even acknowledge the problem. It sucks for the people that became heavily invested in the xmen line.

Ah well
