Re: Rogue PF

Pfff. Tell me about it. Well, there was a shot of her hiney in the production peak video, and it looked quite finey.

Was it only 3? It seemed more like a million. :monkey1

Now that you mentioned it, I think it was actually between 3 and a million.....

That was uhh, quite clever there Barb. :lol

Still praying I get a waitlist convert. But for some reason, on this piece, I do not see that happening.

You never know come shipping time there is always some converts even with NRD in effect. 10 NRDs = 1 statue worth of cash for them. :horror

Yeah, your estimation is probably closer than mine. :monkey1

:lol Thanks! You never know. How soon did you get on the waitlist? I think some folks are willing to lay down the NRD just in case and others are willing to let go of the NRD if they have too. It's difficult to predict what might happen in your life in the months between the NRD and having to serve up the rest of the cash to pay off a piece. Anyway, best of luck.

Let's go Rogue!

Re: Rogue PF

I want 1/4 scale colossus PF to go with Gambit, Rouge, Cyke and Wolvie.

Re: Rogue PF

So are Rouge and Cyke EX are the only ones with NRD that are sold out? So we can say X-Men 1/4 scale sells 1/5 not so much. I don't get what sideshow is thinking they know 1/4 scale sells better and they are the same team, X-MEN, why some are 1/4 and some are 1/5?

so they can get people to buy both? :dunno

that plan is failing :lol

Ink is right, they are double dipping into the character pools hoping that scale is enough to differentiate them so that people HAVE to buy both.

Those of us that pick and choose, wait for the 1/4 scale, cos they will come out with 1/4 scale versions eventually, but from the looks of things, 1/5 is not such a gurantee.

That's why I'm am saddened by 1/5 scale pieces because they make us wait longer for the 1/4 scale versions, and if they gauge popularity of the characters from 1/5 scale the 1/4 scale versions may never be made. Plus we can't mix and match the modern costume versions with the old costumes in the same scale or may never see some of the more obscure characters in 1/4 scale since they have already made 1/5 versions (Hobgoblin) :(

Most important is for us collectors to stick together no matter what you collect, because this scale discrepancy is deliberately created by Sideshow greed and not as a preference from the collector community. If you support 1/4 scale, avoid the 1/5 scale and eventually they will pile up enough for them to make more 1/4 scale. Don't worry the 1/4 scale will come eventually and most 1/5 scale sells slow anyways so take your time even if you want to order it til the low quantity bar appears.

Agree...except the Hulk Comiquette. I can't bare being without it. Spiderman Comiquette is exceptional since its more of a 1/4 scale. Don't get me started with the Venom and Punisher Comiquette.

So do you own any 1/5 scale piece?

Re: Rogue PF

I got on the waitlist April 13th.

I spoke to someone at Sideshow a few weeks back about something else and decided to ask about the prospect of my waitlist converting on this, and she pretty confidently said that the chances were very good. I don't think I even mentioned when I got on the waitlist, and this conversation happened toward the end of April. Hopefully both of our orders convert; I really want the Ex on this piece!
