i had anh luke, ayala secura and im mark 2 process all at the same time. is it necessary to get charged $12, $12, and $13 for a total of $37 shipping for these three? although ss says they try to combine shipping, they've only done that twice for me and only after calling them to ask if they could.

bbts has the 'pile of loot' feature that allows you to hold back items to combine their shipping, then allows you to ship when you're ready to. you save a ton on shipping charges.

how many of you with multi-orders would like ss to add this feature? i mean...COME ON! $37?

Re: ss u.s. shipping rape

Order them from BBTS then.

your solution is not helpful. your reply just signifies that your intention was to agitate. i order from sideshow for the exclusives, not available from retailers. that doesn't mean because i collect the exclusives, that i should have to be raped for the shipping. do you enjoy overpaying for shipping?
:duh :duh :duh

Re: ss u.s. shipping rape

Well what are you wanting? You called SS before and they shipped em together onece. So I would call them again or order from BBTS.

either you agree that sideshow not combining shipping is unfair or you disagree and feel their current order system is fair and doesn't need change. a 'pay the price or go somewhere else' solution is condescending and insults my intelligence. should a customer have to call customer service and ask every time they have more than one item going out at the same time? how is that customer friendly?

if several people feel the same way about this issue, sideshow may consider changing the current system to better serve the customer and save them some shipping costs. we know it CAN be done, as to why i used bbts as an example.

off my soapbox now. :)

Re: ss u.s. shipping rape

I was under the impression that you had to call and request for combined shipping, otherwise sideshow won't do it. :huh

really? i always thought they said they'd try whenever possible? :huh

i still think the 'pile of loot' feature is a cool idea and a big shipping cost saver. i'll give them a call today to see if they'd again combine. i do remember one time they said only if the items arrive at basically the same time. i wonder if they blow out the entire shipment as soon as it arrives by item, and not by customer's individual order. storing those items until the customer is ready to ship may also be another issue.

i think bbts puts the item into their inventory. sold out items are counted to match the total customer orders, and then the customer can recall from the warehouse those items when they decide to 'ship my loot'.

Re: ss u.s. shipping rape

Whenever I have several coming in at the same time I usually contact them and they do their best to send them together. Can you imagine how much it would cost for me in Canada if they sent each one separately? 25 to 30 each plus duties and fees. A 50 buck figure can end up costing me 100 at the end. So my suggestion is contact SS each time you have several items coming at the same time. They really do try to ship together if you let them know earlier.

Re: ss u.s. shipping rape

You have to call and ask for them to do it. And if they are expected to ship more than 2 weeks apart they won't, cause they can't have stuff sitting around the warehouse waiting to be shipped for that long.

Whenever I preorder stuff from Amazon I choose "ship when available." So recently they had 4 items all shipped on the same day and they shipped all 4 seperately. THE SAME DAY!

This is correct sir. :lecture

SSC's shipping prices are a little high compared to other retailers. Just expect a really high shipping price when ordered and hope it will be lower.

i called today and they have already shipped luke. secura and im helm, both sdcc exclusives are 'not allowed' to be combined. so even though i requested combined shipping, i was declined. :( as good as the customer service is at ss, their combined shipping policy is that bad. not even worth trying anymore.

Of course it's worth trying. WTF?

They only promise to try. They have never guaranteed combined shipping. Which is one more option than an outright no. Sideshows warehouse is more like a processing plant. What comes in, goes out. That there is a small window of opportunity during their processing, that they will endeavour to combine orders, is to be applauded, not denigrated.

Where BBTS is different is that they are at the end of the chain. Their warehouse is specifically for storage, and so, are able to accommodate various storage solutions.

Sideshows combined shipping policy, as you call it, is not a policy at all. It's more of a customer service initiative. Sideshows business is a constantly changing environment, and inflexible policies would only serve to hamper their activities. I'm sure when a satisfactory and defined solution, can be incorporated into their operations, they will make it a policy.

most every collectibles retailer combines shipping fanboy crotcher. i suppose you'd be singing a different tune if you had to triple pay for shipping to australia.

what sideshow has done is successfully driven customers to these other retailers for all their products EXCEPT their exclusives. maybe that's why their second chance lists are growing by the hour.

it's good business to combine shipping. but it seems the only business you know is the business end of a wallabe ******. :lol :lol :lol

Hilarious tylerd. You sure are witty.

For a start Sideshow aren't retailers. I pay the shipping to Australia for the items I buy. That you don't appreciate what you have there in the states, like cheap fuel and low extraneous costs, like shipping, makes me want to offer you another lollypop.

Sideshow don't drive anyone anywhere they don't want to go. I even hear that people buy Sideshow products from ebay. Who woulda thunk capitalism is alive and well.

Must just about be time for your diaper change. You're smelling funky.
