True, but I'm mixing the films up so I can have a little of everything. After all, Leia is gonna be in her white Episode IV gown, which also doesn't work--but it's iconic and displays well, so that's what matters.

Han's a nice figure, I've always been very happy with it, my only issue is the sleeves could be a hair longer for some poses, but that's about it.
Luke is really growing on me everytime I shoot him, the outfit just looks so good in photos. It's silly but I think having pockets on the pants and jacket really make a nice looking outfit versus Jedi which is a bit simplistic.

I'm way excited to get this now. Along with Han and Leia it should make a great set up. The only question is, what do I do with Jedi Luke? I was gonna put him with Leia and Han, and thus have each movie represented by one of the main characters, but if I do that, what do I do with Bespin Luke?
Decisions, decisions . . . I love it.

ANYWAY I am really glad I have absolutely no desire to own the giant slug. That would have broken me good, but as I really couldn't care less about those scenes it's not a temptation. I guess I'll just play it by ear and see how things are when I have them all in hand.

He's my favorite OT character, so he'll go right there with the main three. The way I display my characters it doesn't matter if they appear together in the films at all; I have a mix of DVD's, books, figures--it's eclectic enough to work. I've been wanting to take pictures but I'm on vacation and so my collection is a bit spread out--with good fortune I'll get some next week.
As for the slug, no, I really have no desire to own him whatsoever, as fabulously cool as he may be. I do wish I could see him in person someday.
Oh and Sean those pictures are amazing! The only reason I'm even getting this guy is thanks to you!

Thanks Cap, but most of the credit goes to Sideshow, I just highlight what's there.
I'll use a favorite quote from Rambo.
"A sculptor found a stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and worked on it for months and when he was all finished, he showed it to his friends and everyone said he'd created a great statue. The sculptor said the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small pieces."
Sideshow makes many great figures, but sometimes their greatness is lost through unflattering imagery, I just try my best to clear away the small pieces.

Yes, well, Michelangelo said almost the same thing, yet he was one of the greatest artists of all time. It's seeing the work within and then bringing it out that creates the miracle, and not many people can do that, hence all the images that don't capture the full potential of these figures. You really have a talent for it.
