I really love Da Bomb Show's reviews. Short yet very thorough. Always love seeing the base body, particularly newly designed ones. SSC's new muscle body looks really good, I wish SSC would sell them on their own ala TTM, and in various skin tones.

Got mine today and wasted no time on it... So the eye fix was rather easy and an awesome upgrade. Some said the short eared head was most difficult... he wasn't kidding. But the hair dryer trick worked. I left the battle damage portrait alone.
My left fist kept falling off. but no elbow issue like some.
And man is that batarang sharp!

Just picked up a can a Satin White spray paint to mod the eyes first thing, I'm not even going to take the figure out of the box until one head is complete and then I'll display him and mod the other two heads. Now I'll just sit and wait for UPS to drive up sometime today ?

Really angry with UPS. The driver didn't even try to ring my apartment to be let in, they just left a slip on the gate. When I called asking to hold it for pickup they said that Sideshow had restricted it from pickup, and they will try again tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have to work and no one will be here. So, it will probably be sent back to Sideshow.

Next time you place a order with SlideShow call them while its in transit and they can change to a local pick up at your UPS depot or go online to there sight and pre sign a release form so there would be no signature required. I did this for two different shipments from them and it works.

I guess it's a good thing for me that the UPS guy usually just ignores the requirement to obtain a signature and leaves SSC packages at my door when I'm not at home.

UPS just dropped off no more then 5 minutes and I have the plug out of the head in like a minute for the eye mod. Just take a modelers exacto blade and just run in in the back of the plug and each time just go a bit deeper in and the plug comes right out.

Lol, made me snort beer down my nose. Captured my thoughts exactly ;)

UPS said that Sideshow put a restriction that it can't be held for pickup.

If I sign for them to leave the package and the gate is locked, UPS will leave it out front of the complex on a major street in Los Angeles. It would very likely be stolen.

You are correct but next time you have to call them while its transit before it gets to your local sort facility, I know I did this when I ordered my MOS and I had seen Signature Required which would of been a pain with my work schedule.

There's a smaller stand that comes out of the larger one, if that makes any sense.

Got mine today. First off, this figure is a beast and blew me away! Best representation of comic book Batman I have ever seen. Out of the box, he had the tip of his left gauntlet almost broke off. One of his straps on his belt was also not sewn down. I contacted SSC immediately and I'm not worried because they always have taken care of me in the past. Seriously, the shelf presence is staggering. I am so tempted to sell my HT Dark Knight figures to support the comic book based ones. It's hard because I love the Nolan films so much, but the Batman of the comics is where my love of Batman truly lies. Decisions.... anyway, a couple of pics (sorry crappy camera phone)

finally got mine in , really like this figure, though I am a freak for articulation and just needed the double elbow joint ( most important joint for me :) )
so 1st thing I did was port him over to a Hot toys road block body ( good fit for everything ) And still gives him that very beefy bruiser build
will try and post some picks later, I am at work now

Damn, just got this in. Easily in my top 5 SSC 1/6 figures ever. Really solid release. Hope Superman lives up to this.
