Yeah the Supes impersonator was TOO big anyway.. & his suit looked like a fancy dress costume.

There does seem to be a small possibility that I may step outside of my personally instated "Star Wars and GI Joe only" rule to pick up this figure. This is a badass version of the character. My own favorite.

Well i met him and he was really rude to me and the bodybuilder i was dating at the time had told me he had a habbit of being a cocky azz. He tends to treat people like they need to do stuff for him and f you if you don't type personaility.

I never met the guy who played batman, he was supposedly at a comic con promoting the movie somewhere.

I dont know why people are slamming this batman, Im with the ones that do want this figure because im supper picky when it comes to batman figures, im the toughest sell

And i totally want this one. Im going to use him to make my Bronze Age Batman. If sideshow doenst make available a bruce wayne sculpt head to go with it i will find a sculpt that matches the way he should look. I was looking at a few male sculpts that could pass for comic book bruce.

This is the best batman i have seen so far. I only caution sideshow to please make sure the cape is matte spandex because shiny spandex makes it look cheep. ITY jersey is perfect because it has decent weight and is matte. and peachskin/challis. are also good cape material. So i hope the costumer for him see's these notes.

To give you an idea how picky i am with batman is i had not baught any DCD 13# outside of batgirl and batman and im still not 100% about them and gave DCD very thourough notes on these figures. Hell i even contacted the ceo of warner bro's to have them hault the haley barry catwoman movie I told them it would flop and make less. They told me they hope i was wrong and i said to them be lucky if you get your money back you put into it.

I have told companies have a seperate old school set of figures and new design figures because your going to have split collectors who wont buy new and you will have young kids who will only buy new design. I told them think who has more money the ones who collect oldschool comics or the ones who collect new. I guess they only see the numbers of what they get verses what they could be making.

Im not talking make the figures look old or use old bodies but the costuming should be classic and the head sculpts look classic but more detail than what we are use to with gold,silver and bronze age since the art work was so so.

Knowing sideshow for this long wait all 4 will be released at same time to pre-order which might suck for are wallets.

I know that Sideshow are making Batman,Joker,Harley and Catwoman.
Was Poison Ivy announced too or no?

Superman was also shown at last year's Comic Con.
No Poison Ivy though. I am sure there will be more 1/6 Sideshow DC figures shown this week at Comic Con. Hoping for Hal Jordan myself and looking forward to seeing the resculpted Batman head

Right on. He looks mean just standing like that.

I really want this and Joker! Still thinking about HQ but Joker and Bats (especially if the brows would be tweaked on Batman) so far looks the best from this line, IMO.
