I actually really like how intimidating/scary he looks. Almost looks like a monster It's a really cool approach to the character.

Based on Snake Plissken and Batman I think I will go ahead and just assume that the DC license is very very expensive.

I'm going to wait a little to see if they bring out a black and grey variant similar to what they did with the LSB; however, I'm not going to lie, this has made me for sure on putting down an order for the first 3 figures. just going to wait for more coupons

Love the two different cowls and the interchangeable expressions!
Only thing is I think his drawers need to be a little bigger, in some shots he looks like he's got nothing in them at all.

I'm still going to buy this though, I think the drawers can be easily fixed.

As it's Batman and as the EX is a second HS I've gone ahead and ordered for the time being, not particularly impressed though

Love Batman, but this is just not for me.

I prefered the proto in almost every way. But it's noticeable that things like colouring had to change once HT revealed their 1966 BAT plans.

After seeing their Plissken, I think Sideshow is capable of better.

Those headsculpts are downright hideous as far as Batman's cowl likeness are concerned, they all remind me of this.

The way the head/neck/cape are done is pretty unnatural as well. This was way better looking,

If they do a "Classic" Neal Adams/Jim Aparo Batman, I hope it's not just a "repaint" of this and is redone from scratch.

Does anyone know if they'll release a black/grey version of this figure? I really like all the extras this comes with. That kryptonite rings is killer! Its a shame though how they changed the neck (fabric vs sculpted). It would have been an instant buy for me if they had kept it sculpted... more Neal Adams-like.

The body is really killing it for me. Long neck, stubby legs, and a little too bulky for my liking.

After you guys pointing out the neck to me it really started to buy me. The sculpted version better is 100x better. I must admit when i first saw it i wasn't totally impressed but now it's starting to grow on me. We'll see what else Hot Toys showcases later in the year.
