Premium Format SSC Batman PF

The head sculpt certainly is classic Adams. However, the musculature on the blue PF is way too big to be considered a class Adams PF. He's HUGE and Adams always drew a leaner/athletic looking Bats.

If there was one PF that deserved a different sculpt it was this one. GL gets a new sculpt but not Classic Batman? Too easy to just repaint the existing with a new head I guess. We all still bought it.

Im not displeased with mine, I like them both but Bronze age Batman is The Batman to a lot of us and a newer, leaner, less of a brawler build would have been perfect.

Bronze ang is cool (and we can debate this until the end of time) but I think it's not a majority this or minority that. It's what you like. I prefer a dark brooding batman over my Gotham. Some prefer a blue Batman. End of story. But to make a blank statement that the Bronze Age is THE Batman is just just silly.

I like BOTH of these Batman. Now I saw the blue and I thought it looked great, but I prefer the black. I do think the Neal Adams head looks great on the blue though. Can't wait to add this to mine

Just ordered the blue, it was a tough choice but I think the more vibrant colors of the blue will match my collection best. That and i prefer the more classic (though overly muscular ) look. Black version looks pretty damn nice as well, it was a tough choice, but I am only getting one. Blue wins for me.

It's a great statue, especialy with the mixed media. I'm starting to hate it looking at it from the left, the knee up leg just looks really bad from that direction, the silhouette of it doesn't work to me, so I try to pose him rotates clockwise so looking at it from the front, you see more of his left side. I might one day have to pay more for a statue that has a better overall 360 pose.

Yeah, you gotta have some patience when dealing with customizing pieces. Setbacks are pretty normal. Life happens. So long as it turns out great, it's worth the wait IMO.

I just got mine in today and WOW! This is a really impressive piece! It looks great in pics but in person looks really really nice and bigger than I thought, stoked on this purchase. I got the blue one and the cape, oh the cape in itself is huge and very well done. My statue has no flaws that i can see and the pose and overall look is amazing! The only problem with it is it steals some thunder away placed next to my bobba fett pf! Glad i jumped in on this, awesome, awesome statue!

My friend, I have both the grey and black and the grey and blue and they are the best Batman Statues for the money. That gargoyle base is like so awesome and very impressive. You can't get the blue and grey modern Bats thru SS anymore, but you should get the grey and black while it's still available. They must be running short of supply by now for this epic statue. You should also keep your Dark Knight PO, cause that's another great PF.
