At least yours have some good value. I don't have a lot of vintage stuff, just the few odds and ends. They are mostly from the late 80's early 90's. Now all I buy are Collected Hardcovers off amazon. I just love reading a comic a couple of hundred pages long LOVE IT!! Buying individuals just became too expensive for me. I'll never forget walking into the now defunct Borders bookstore here and seeing a single issue selling for $14. I completely flipped. $14 for a comic, 15 minutes of reading?!? No way. I've been buying HC from the US ever since.

Becoming a 'real' collector is too late by now. I will buy the danish comics now and again.

What I will try to collect is the New 52 Batman. I just got vol 1 - The court of owls hardcover. With this i have a chance to actually get something connected and the New 52 batman looks great so far. Besides batman Im thinking of buying the walking dead hardcover books. So I agree with you on that.

Sweet I only have batman on order so I'm joining Artic in the waiting queue. I see what you mean though, it's gonna be weird without bats.

I have two coming and one day someone is going to come sniveling around wanting one crying about it fetching $1000+ and I will be there like a hero to give them a deal or maybe trade it for a Spiderman Com or another great piece I missed out on. 2000 ES for Batman is really nothing to worry about. I just glad it’s not an OES like Hulk.

Excellent point! IMO Hulk is about 200.00 overpriced.
