So, how can you tell it's the PF, and not a figure?
i would think that much like Cyclops, or any other PF, there would be a great deal MORE muscle definition in the chest.. this looks rather, plain in that regard, which is something I would more expect with fabric that is intended to slide around on a figure body. Additionaly, in the abs, there are what appear to be the lower crunch of the Prometheus mid torso joint.
I COULD be wrong, But I'm just wondering how those of you who are certian it's the PF, are so certian?

Look at it this way, at least we are getting them at $350. In a few years, PFs will be $400+.
But I know what you are saying. Everything has taken a back seat since all this DC stuff is getting released.
I can't believe it they are shoving all the great DC products down are throats right now at this rate I won't be able to get all the things I want.

well, you kinda just answered ur own question...its cloth...thus the PF. besides, i dont think SSC is doing any 1/6th DC stuff as of yet and hot toys arent part of these preorder previews. it pretty much has to be the PF.

Go back through the QnA's, they announced 1/6ht scale DC comic figures a WHILE ago

Later in the Qna's, they said that Batman would likely be first, and we could expect to see DC figures at SDCC this year.
Additionbaly, they stated they would be scaling back on Star wars and GI joe figure releases to make room for the Upcomming DC figures.
The Scaleback on releases happened already.
So my question still stands.

Wouldn't see as much detail on the bat emblem on the 1/6 figure I don't think. It will probably just be a little transfer type deal. Would love to be proven wrong, though.

It is the PF, lerath. It's just too close a shot (and too angled too) to see much detail. The lighting is different too. Look at the mesh on both pics.

of course it's the Batman P.F. , SS said it would be up before SDCC officially started and tomorrow is the last day before it starts. So, they saved the most anticipated pre-order for right before it starts.
Definite pre-order for me. I won't be surprised if the exclusive edition size is 2,000 pieces though, just like Vader was years ago. There is a big market for it..

They should set the edition size like what they did with C3PO R2D2 PF. But I doubt they will, since they'd wanna show DC that it was the right move by giving them the DC license.
