Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

Interesting.... The head on the right does not have its eyes painted

They didn't catch the unpainted eyes either.

I am thinking they actually might have painted them darker so that the shadows on the other photos work well

Spidey... I know you're Sideshow's biggest cheerleader, but something seems amiss. I don't think they purposely painted eyes darker, especially since they didn't even bother using a production piece with a complete, unpeeling bat symbol.

Lol... M8 I am not making excuses... If you look at the pic with Catwoman the lighting was SO harsh to get those reflection you would have been able to see the white of his eyes out from under his brow, shadow or no. So, and I am guessing here, but I would bet that they painted the eyes darker to get that shaded effect, but had forgotten to take the up close shots of the head first. Look at all of the other photos, the Andy B head always is photographed to get that shaded look.... I think it was a mistake for sure (at least for the one shot), but that the eyes were painted to get that cool shading effect intentionally.

Saw this on display at a local store, sadly the armpit issue was there and the neck looks a touch on the long side but it does look absolutely amazing in person, and the base is very detailed as well! :yess:

I'm curious if anyone has done a sculpted body on this statue yet? or maybe in the process of doing one?
