Here's a quick solution: hire nikoniko to oversee the HS painting! If you guys think I'm wrong, that's fine, but it seems that if a light-hearted critique gets you this riled... you may have to put the pom-poms down for a minute so you can catch your breath and listen to what I'm saying to you. For me they have yet to prove themselves on a full (unmasked) Joe HS. We should be voicing our concerns and the pressure should be on them. I know they can do better and that's why I spoke up.

You do know that Small Studios Josh, a regular repainter from the forums, did the paint for the Beachhead figure, right?

Not to bash nikoniko, but even if sideshow hires him to oversee HS painting, it would not really solve anything. The reason why paint aps are commonly different from the prototype is not because of ''poor art'' direction at china, but rather, price, time, and talent. People who paint prototypes are paid a lot, so there are going to do their best to paint something. Therefore, they are going to use the best stuff they have. However, when the figure is made in china, they have to cut cost, so using something like a rare shade of red isn't going to be profitable, for example. Also, the painters at the factory has to paint a lot of heads in a short amount of time, so they are going to paint a head faster than someone like nikoniko or josh from smallstudios.

He did the paint on all of the production Beachheads all by himself? My mistake. I thought he just did the awesome prototype and then the Chinese factory workers did the production ones.

Your sarcasm is a fail since I clearly said that Josh did the paint job for the BH fig. I said fig as in singular, as in the prototype. I also mentioned that the chinese workers did the production ones. Please read my comment clearly before you make such a remark.
