Ugh... that makes that godawful scene somehow even worse; man I hate the SE!!!

Yep, I too once rationalized that the SE Jabba scene was at least cool for being the first true "appearance" of Boba Fett. That lasted for about five seconds because I quickly learned he wasn't originally there and it was just a chunky ILM employee (not even Jeremy Bulloch) who put the suit on for the brief digitally inserted camera mugging cameo.

This is one I'd probably not display in my home, but rather a figure for the office. Just as more of a curiosity than something I'd want with my main display.

Which makes it an even worse idea as a purchase, but I'm still not completely deterred by the idea

It's not even the correct suit in the ANH SE, it's mostly ROTJ.

I'll play it by ear... I want a ROTJ to go with the ESB, but the Proto and Holiday Special versions are not must haves for me. Like Barry mentioned, if it came with the MCQuarrie Proto helmet I might be more inclined to say it was a must have.

You can't see it because of the mask, but he's actually winking at the camera in those two scenes.

Is this just basically a white version of the previous release?

The prototype jetpack has a grappling hook instead of rocket on the top, slightly different gauntlet weaponry, different rifles, different blades on the feet.

They should include a vintage Duwayne Dunham with 70's mop headsculpt as well.
