Swapped out the Sideshow body onto my spare Hot Toys Luke last night (that's essentially a True Type Slim, right?), and took....no pictures lol!

It's a pretty noticeable improvement though, and it especially helps with the arm length.

Although I really hate the fact that the neck 'ball' doesn't hold the Sideshow neck very tightly. I guess I'll have to try the nail polish thing.

Also, a screen-accuracy point for those that do a redress: turn the 'neck seal' part of the costume around. The seam should be in front.

It's ok, not really annoying or anything. Knees a bit stiff. Not HT good, but not particularly poor like some other SS figures.
Only real issue I have with him is the color of the flight suit.

Hey guys. Again, sorry for the crappy iphone pictures with bad yellow light, but it's night time. I'll try to take better ones tomorrow. Anyway, I switched to a slim true type already and it's a big improvement. Arms are not short anymore and posing and posture are more life like. I don't know if it can be noticed in these pictures but here's a couple:

I gotta say, swapping to the TrueType is amazing. The thigh pockets sit lower and the whole figure looks sooooo much more humanlike. Now I have to order two more of them (to replace the one I stole from Luke and for the SS ESB Fett) lol!

Just goes to show the difference a body makes. Nice work, Commtech!
