Unless I am misreading the product page, there is no beach towel with the EX. There is a beach towel cape (i.e. cape that looks like a beach towel) for the figure with matching base. Some where saying it came with a beach towel in earlier posts so I just wanted to clear that up.

yes, thank you. i did mean beach towel cape.

Sideshow Exclusive Learn More

The Sideshow Exclusive version of the Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) Sixth Scale Figure includes a unique feature available nowhere else: Star Wars Beach Towel 'Cape' and Figure Base with matching design

"Cape" is in quotes, which means its not really a cape. Its a 1/6 scale beach towel that he uses as a cape, just like the original screen test.

That makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up Khev.

So I assume it will come with the regular white cape as well then.

ok I ordered. This will look good in an office setting by itself.

You need a circa 1978 Ben Burtt to pose with him. :lecture

hope the rocket grapple hook fins move......

like wallers pic.

They updated his gauntlets to match the original armor weaponry too. No cheap repaint. Boo ya. Bring on the Holiday Special.

Yes! That blue and yellow would visually round out the Boba lineup of this white one and the ESB fig, not to mention help further manifest the history of the character design.

The towel and stand are so cool. 'Kinda push this piece, at least aesthetically, into art toy/vinyl territory. 'Best SSC exclusive accessories in recent memory. :clap

Why is the towel an exclusive?

That's what was actually used. The other cape has no place on the figure. Weird.

Looks like Hasbro's version was a half-assed beach towel cape. It looked mostly white with a couple stars added to it in the style of the towel's stars.

Nevertheless I understand why SSC is offering the white cape as the standard version. For people who want to insert this into their Star Wars canon as a "Supertrooper," the Star Wars beach towel cape isn't going to cut it.

Also, knowing LFL and how they are about having idealized versions of their characters as product (yes, even prototypes), I'm sure the only way Sideshow could get away with including the beach towel was as the Exclusive.

Do you think idealized Proto-Fett is the reason there's no dent? I thought it always had one.

ORDERED a sweet version i wanted since 3/4 inch figs lame ex would love some Mcquarie art work or cool base or same as last fett base included. Now bring on the carbon freeze enviroment and a dx han....

love the Ex, ordered it.. i was going to put him with the OT troops as the super trooper, but with the beach towel cape he may just get his own place

I preordered the Exclusive version. I passes on the first Boba Fett because it just didn't feel right for my collection. But this prototype version will fit nicely with the Shiny Deluxe Clone Trooper. This Boba will look great leading them.

Yeah, I'm sure that's the case.

definitely.

The Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) Sixth Scale Figure features:

Boba Fett Prototype Armor
Helmet with Rangefinder
Prototype Rifle
Prototype Blaster
Jet Pack with Grappling hook

You, guys, being Star Wars fans, how much can I make selling them together? Thanks for whomever answers.
