SSC Cobra Officer Figure!!!!!!

Just got my Officer parts in from Toy Angst. Couple notes:

-New headsculpt. Definitely wider than the Trooper head and the eys aren't as crazy. Very realistic looking, imo, and gives me high hopes for Firefly and Beach Head's faces. Doll dot is back.

-Sleeves on the Uni. are definitely longer.

-Helmet chevron is maybe a hair off center but you wouldn't know it unless you sat and stared for a while and broke out the ruler and did the math. Still would have preferred a sculpted one though.

Just got mine, and like Mansdo alreay said its a new sculpt, better than the reg trooper and the sleeves are much better

Very happy with mine.

The dot had me asking the same question. I'm thinking he's been finished for quite a while and they were just waiting to release him. It would kind of explain as to why the sudden return of the dot plus we've been seeing him in images since the winter.

Looks great, King! He looks very well porportioned now and I'm diggin him without all the webgear.

I'm willing to bet that's EXACTLY why he's got it.

good idea about the dumbed down look. i'll probably do the same. really looking foward to him. i'm glad they're not just recycling sculpts. another plus for sideshow.

Someone had stated that it looked like it was the same sculpt repainted a couple pages back. We're just clearing the air.

i assumed it was a new sculpt but i thought somebody said it was the same with different eyecolor.

From what I've seen in pics the capes really helps to even out the sides of the hood. Good stuff!

I don't think it's crooked?... just the angle at which he was shot.

I guess it's just the angle but it looks damn crooked in that picture. Mando's and King's look ace though.

Prolly. Will make me a real Officer like yours and turn SS's into Scarface.

Anyway, here are my pics. Awesome figure, just like the Trooper. All joints are tight. The helmet fits more snug.
