There was no limit to the number of EX Vipers that you could order, just like there is no limit to the number of EX Crimson Guardsmen. You can only get one EX Black Dragon Ninja, though.

I would have ordered two EX Black Dragon Ninjas to display with each headsculpt. Yes, I am aware that I could just get an EX and regular, but if the regular is the same price as the EX, I would rather get the EX to get the extra headsculpt / weapon / whatever. I am also aware that you collectors in CA get the short end of the stick regarding taxes, etc., and it makes more sense to perhaps order from an online dealer than directly from Sideshow.

My waitlist was place back in July and still have yet to convert. This Ex might be tricky.... but for display purposes you could still play a number of heads for a non helmet wearing Viper. There's enough accessories for the face and melon for variations no matter what version.

I'm sure if you wait you'll see the Elite edition go up on eBay for retail price; doesn't seem to be that big of a seller. This is great for those that want this figure but don't want to pay the high eBay costs! I'm gonna wait and see!
