I'd rank 4 above 3, acting isn't great in that one either but for some reason I like it more.
One I always go back to is Part VI though. I think I watch that one the most.

Cult appeal at its finest! 3 & 4 are hands down my favorites. I enjoy 1-5 and can't appreciate them from 6 on the same way

It may have to do with age too. I think the older fans dig the earlier movies and the younger guys always favor 6+

Just rewatched F13th Part III in anticipation for this and WOW. Is that movie bad. Acting is soo bad. Jason was a beast, but man that has to be one of the worse in the series.

The other day was the first day it warmed up around here so we opened the doors and windows and watched Friday the 13th part 2 that night. It was great. The fresh air and camp environment of the movie went perfect together. That's my favorite part about parts 1 and 2, the real summer camp feel.

My favorites are 1-5. But my top are 1,2 and 3 but 4 is very good. I prefer the earlier movies. After 5 it gets stupid honestly. I know a lot don't like 5 because it isn't Jason but I thought it was good.

Part VI has that feeling too for me.

I feel it gets stupid after VI. I only like VII because of Jasons design, which is my favorite design.

Part 3 is my favorite but never really into 5. The mask's different, he's running around in Michael's overalls and it's not even Jason?! What a jip. It's the only movie I don't have.

The fact that it has wrist joints identify it's a 1/6 as well.

My favorite is always Friday the 13th part 1-4. Liked part 6 because of a touch of comedy in it. And I didn't like the rest of them. Jason as a zombie wasn't that appealing to me. I liked him as a human with deformed face. That made him much more scarier and more realistic. Then again I'm from an older generation and I appreciate the earlier parts of a franchise much more.

Going to pre order this tomorrow regardless of the price.
