I dunno why anyone enjoys that figure.... not knocking anyone that actually does it's the wrong colors nor does it look size/build accurate.

yea if we're being honest both the Jason and Freddy sideshow figures really missed the mark in multiple places. Thankfully, we got great customizers to help us. My Sideshow Jason has been completely transformed but I don't think there's any saving that Freddy (DeanKnight tried though)

Got my Caine hock last month and just received this dragon ww2 shirt. Plan is to use the buttons from the dragon shirt on the sideshow piece, possibly dye the sideshow shirt...

Id guess it's the popularity of the character. And I'd say it's debatable on which is the better figure Jason or Freddy. I think Ash is a bit better than both, but imo Freddy is kinda a meh for me.

I've modded both where I'm [emoji817] happy with my Jason now,. But I'm still feeling pretty "meh" about my Freddy. I think I'm just not digging the sculpt.

I cut foam and placed them over the shoulder and back areas. Then I cut smaller pieces of foam and put them down inside the neck to bulk up the neck.

Finally pulled my finger out and asked my girlfriend if she would dye it for me [emoji1] truthfully I was gonna say the change is bare minimum, but! Second glancing it today it definitely made a difference just it still has that khaki tint under certain lighting.
