Yes, I was on the exclusive waitlist. However, I thought that only the exclusive is being offered. There was originally supposed to be a non-exclusive but sideshow dropped that version.

I still find it hard to believe that SS only made a limited run of these figures, I'm sure the retail stores will need them as well.

Orders were cut off from retail stores outside of Pop Cultcha. Most places deleted their pre-order listings for Luke when in normal cases you would maybe just find a "sold out" for a figure if it was no longer available for pre-order.

Well I just checked sideshows site and they have this figure now marked as sold out

I am new to this wait list stuff but considering I've been on the wait list two weeks without a conversion does anyone want to venture a guess at what my chances are at this point.

Better news for the masses that waited -- Hot Toys should be revealing theirs soon at SDCC. This is just like C-3PO.

I'm actually happy I don't have to consider this any further.

My theory is they saw X wing luke sit, still sitting, why would they make the same amount at a higher price point?? no company in their right mind would do that, so you lower production and increase the price to maintain that profit, makes sense to me

Really hope you're right about HT Luke. But have my doubts for any time too soon. What with Jedi Luke already teased.

Then again maybe the plan is to ride the "Luke wave" generated from The Last Jedi hype considering he's the central point of it ???

Sure it would have been nice to have this figure. But SS still have dropped the ball on quality on most of their figures imo. If it takes a few years for HT to release theirs then I can wait
