I think SS would need to do something about the hair, repaint the head a bit and soften out some of the features to make this look like Luke. HT would need to make a new head entirely. I could be wrong though.
How about the HT Bespin Luke? I think it's dead-on.
Yes, I think the Bespin Luke sculpt is an excellent likeness.
I think the hair sculpt is what leads people to not give it the credit it really deserves.

SS kind of looks like Michael Shannon.

I have to say that since SSC Jedi Luke was the first figure that got me started into all of this, at the price of $49.99 , there is a part of me that want to get this just to show the progression between where the line started and where it is now.
I see Tom Brady and that dude that played Kirk in the new Star Trek.
A Love child with no mother.
Its funny, because just a few years ago, someone would have brought up Jodie Foster Luke when talking about "the best", so at least we've progressed as collectors, if only a little.
Yeah, I mentioned how the SSC face looks very Chris Pine a few days ago, but it does bring up that discussion of how many actors have a somewhat similar look. Hamill also looked a lot like contemporaries Harry Hamlin (face from some angles) and Robby Benson.
