Another pic from JTA, paint job looks really good and i can see Ewan allot just the expression doesn't do it any favours.

That is a much better picture... if its alternate head it will be pretty cool. But if that's the only head it's a bit to specific and expressive.

Never did the Sunhoc version? I was never chomping at the bit to own a TPM Kenobi so i passed. But I remember some pretty cool customs using that head.

There are definitely two heads involved here with this figure the preview nd the display are completely different expressions.

The inner robe material looks different too. The original pic looks like the usual old material, but the SDCC material looks thinner and gauzier.

His sculpt was good. But I never liked the thinness of it. Figuring Sideshow would put one out someday I just ever felt the urge to bite either.

Except that his mouth is completely closed in the teaser and you can see his teeth in the con display.

You are mistaken, sir. There are no teeth in that display. That is light reflecting off the paint of his lower lip. If you look back a few posts...you can see from the side that his mouth is closed.

I painted this one, and the Comic Con head is different from the teaser. Yes, his mouth is open and you can see teeth. One head is a passive expression. The Con head is angry/aggressive.

From what I see, they both look fine. Good to know they are offering different expressions. Put me down for a couple!

I just went back and looked at my own projects pics for this figure, and the one at SDCC is not my original paint. It looks like that may be a production head.

That said, neither look like Ewan to me. But the teaser sculpt looks alot more like Harrison Ford then HT's attempt.
