Un-freakin'-believable: I have envied all who were able to get this extremely limited edition of one of the all-time great horror masters, and knew in my heart that, even though I got on the wait list as soon as possible, I was resigned to the fact that since there were only 15, what possible chance would I have of getting one of these off the wait list? I was just reviewing my list of ordered items at the SS site, and only yesterday thought I would delete my wait list reservation since it was merely mocking me every time I looked at it!

I got up this morning... and LO AND BEHOLD my Ardeth Bey SSE waitlist is BEING CONVERTED TO AN ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :chew :chew :chew :chew

I literally thought I was going to cry!!!!

My order now says 'Shipping soon'! Oo-rah! So I'm hoping that means it will be here around the first of next week, Monday or Tuesday. I'll have to go down to the FedEx facility to pick it up, though, so THAT means I probably won't get it til Wednesday-ish. But the important think here is that I AM getting it!

Thanks, Monster! I'd already decided this would be one of "those" items that I would keep an eye out for on eBay and pay a much heftier price at some point (like the one currently on eBay for $1600!). I've been quite sad (as sad as one tends to be about this sort of thing) since missing out on it when it first went up for order. So I knew this would be my "Balrog" or "Grey vs." piece, and I'd have to just be prepared to pay whatever it would take to get it. So getting it thru the wait list is extremely cool!

once these settle into homes of diehard fans who wont sell them for any price, the value of these will skyrocket!

even if I was a flipper and had scored one, I wouldve waited about a year to flip it.
