The association of the Predator hunting a Nutria is quite funny :lol

Your bust looks amazing! Congrats!

Damn, the black spots work on that piece is amazing! You need better pics to really show it off. Do you have contact info for this guy that painted it? I'd love to learn his spot technique, especially if 915stag51 ever has me paint a P1 for him.

Amazing piece. More pics please. Side shots, down shots, the works...:D

Yeah the spot pattern is amazing. It was painted by the Mortal Immortal of thehunterslair.com as was my predator 2 bust. This piece is made of resin and is taken from Stan Winston's original mold. I'll definitely take better pictures of it.

I've talked with the mortal immortal about his spot pattern and he stated that he uses more of a giraffe pattern where the spots look like the can fit into each other rather then just random spots. Surfer check out thehunterslair.com and become a member there and you'll learn all the tricks of the trade. Your predator 2 for Stag was top quality and people were loving your paintup there. You will fit in perfectly there if your not already a member.

Sounds like I definitely need to get in there. Thanks.

It wasn't the pattern of spots that was in question. That I got right away. I need to know his application method. They look too clean for brushed on spots and to crisp for airbrush. It's almost as if he had a stensil.

That is one awesome bust man :)
This one really came to life with the dreads attached:)
i have to agree on the eyes though ,, they are a tad to big.

Kind Regards
Jimmy

Here is where I'm at on this project. Replaced the glass eyes with new smaller ones and created a new trophy necklace using a real mink skull, random animal vertebre, coyote teeth, and random bobcat bones. I still need to finish painting up the beads (lots to go) and add the facial quills which will be the last step.

Here is a close up of the new eyes with flash. They look much better in my opinion:

Thanks Jimmy I agree the new eyes really improved this piece dramatically.

I made the baby dreads by cutting the tips of the regular dreads since they get smaller, thinner and pointier at the ends anyways. I ordered 100 dreads for this piece and it took 70 to fill the holes about 20 of them went to the baby dread area.
