In the other survey I may have made a mistake in limiting it to Gambon Dumbledore. So tell us - which Dumbledore do you want to see first?

Just as a reminder - Star Ace has already solicited a first year Harry Potter and announced first year Ron and Hermione as the next figures.

While I really enjoyed the way both actors portrayed Dumbledore, I think I would like to see Gambon's version released first. I felt that his portrayal of Dumbledore really fit the tone of the later Harry Potter films very well.

I did not like Gambon as Dumbledore, though in the sixth movie he seemed to play him better. I'm not going to get into buying 1/6 Harry Potter figures but all the same, I'd like to see a Harris version.

This:
Since it's the younger Harry and Ron, wouldn't Harris make more sense?

If Star Ace is going to make both, then I don't really mind which one they start with. However, given that Star Ace is starting with other figures from the first movie, then it is sensible to start with the first Dumbledore.

I have to say, I do prefer Harris' Dumbledore outfit and I'm curious to see how they approach his hair/beard, which is quite massive and would probably limit head movement. I suppose it worked okay for Sideshow's Gandalf though.

Harris all the way. He played the roll like it was written, like a grandfather. Soft spoken, loving and only raised voice when needed. Dumbledore 2.0 was a loud mouth prick, that dressed like a dirty hippie.

I love classic star Harris but Gambon did an equal or better performance that I didn't even notice Dumbledore was played by a different actor later on.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I noticed the change between actors drastically. Richard Harris had a certain gentle demeanor, but you could tell there was much more beneath the surface. I like both portrayals, but I feel more fondly about Richard Harris. I always perceived him as being so old between this and Gladiator but he was only 72!

I would be fine with either portrayal and it is entirely possible that I would buy both. I am really curious to see how far this line goes!

I would rather see Harris first. If the line doesn't make it to teen Harry & crew I'd like them displayed with RH Dumbledore.

In general though I prefer Gambon.

I like both but I'd prefer a Harris Dumbledore. I liked his quiet demeanor with just that bit of, I know more than you think I know, portrayal.

I prefer Harris and certainly with the kids. Due to his untimely death the change was a bit jarring, but Gambon made the role his own.

Harris was indeed a legend, but Gambon took the character where where the story went. Not to mention the action. Harris would look cool, but Gambon would be a better figure for any kind of action pose.

I personally like gambon. He took over the role and played his part great. That's who I think of when I think of Dumbledore
