I didn't particularly care for the movie, so maybe my cynicism is influenced by that, but I can't see the line going very far at the moment. The hype window has now well and truly passed us by. I expect Newt but no more.

I kinda agree, which sucks for me personally, since I liked the movie better than most of the HP movies (though not the books).

Thing is, who knows how much they're gonna do Fantastic Beasts-wise? I'd like figures of damn near every character in that movie, but my fear is they'll be stopping after Newt.

I thought Gambon was often a terrible Dumbledore. Much too angry. Still, I'll be buying this figure. ROFL.

Yeah I'd like to know as well...I saw the film yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be getting Newt regardless of how far they go into the line though.

Put in my preorder for this guy, likely my last Potter verse figure. I prefer Harris but like this costume and podium more than the previous purple robes with Fawkes so I picked a Harris head and will just swap them out.

Glad it's not just me then! Finally got the 9th Doctor and Jaime Lannister off my list only to put this figure and Daenerys on in place of them!

I ordered him from Planet Action Figures - thankfully they do payment plans.

Just received my second notice that this is being delayed.
Now it's pushed back until June.
After reading some posts about the possibility that Star Ace may have lost the 1/6 license for Harry Potter, if these rumors are true, I hope that isn't affecting the release of this or the Doby figure.

I doubt they've lost the license. It was probably only exclusive for a set period of time. Perhaps it's now open to other companies too, or maybe it was just on x amount of figures because we've not seen any for so long. Or maybe Molecule8 don't really have the license. It's all hearsay at the moment.

If they're still bringing out, or intend to still bring out more figures, then they obviously still have it.

Hopefully they redid the Hermione head altogether and that's the cause of the delay. Trying to pass off a clearly older looking Emma Watson sculpt as a Prisoner of Azkaban version, like they're trying to sell a DH Voldemort as GoF Voldemort would be a lazy mistake.
