I haven't seen a lot of really cool sixth scale stuff lately, but one showed up this week that really took me by surprise. It's the Harry Potter figure from Star Ace, and it's a great first offering. You can find my review here:

Harry Potter Sorcerer's Stone sixth scale action figure - Another Pop Culture Collectible Review by Michael Crawford, Captain Toy

or with the usual at:

Michael Crawford's Review of the Week - the number one source for action figure, toy and pop culture reviews!

If you should happen to see anything weird with the site, let me know. My hosting company was up to something last weekend that caused some issues, but it seems like things are back to normal. However, if you have any issues, please drop me a line.

Thanks for reading!

Very well written review Michael! All your points seem very well observed and reasonable, the strenghts like sculpt, paint and accessories, and also the few nits like the large hooks on the cloak. I also like that you inluded so many reference photos from the films. :clap

Didn't think it was possible, but this review made my anticipation for the figure even higher!:yess:

It would be awesome if they sold some of those bodies individually. Could finally make some good Goonies or Shortround customs.

Man, I'm so tempted by these, but I don't need another 1/6 line to get into.

So drop another line - you'll be sorry if you don't!

Right now I'm mostly just getting Iron Man/Avengers/Guardians Hot Toys, BCS Doctor Who, Game of Thrones and the occasional one-off like Sideshow's Vader or the Heavy Armored Cop. It is true I plan on scaling back on Avengers stuff with 2. I'm trying to just get new characters. I might go ahead and order Harry, knowing it should be easy to unload him if I don't end up wanting him. I see sites listing Ron and Harry both as QR4 of this year. Is that actually true?
