Question for the UK freaks. Is Star Trek edited in any way? I know they are a little more strickt when it comes to violence and such in movies and i just wanted to check before i ordered Star Trek from Amazon.

But man did it come in with a bang !!!

That's what she said.

I definitely will pick up the Blu-Ray and even ordered a Spock onesie for my son. Trek will definitely fill the void that Star Wars has left with their lackluster attempts at interest lately.

Picked up mine today for $29.95 AUS from JBHIFI if anyone in OZ wants one before the US which I just cancelled from Amazon.
Amazing that it got released here before the US. Still reeling from not being the last on the planet and also being charged the most.Doubt that it is a sign of things to come but fingers crossed.
I guess we have RAN before the US as well. I think the UK is getting that soon. Licence issues within the US distributors stuffed that release up.

Preordered this via Amazon for $21.98 plus shipping........Digital Bits gave it a great review too...

3 disk Blu set for $22 is pretty darn good.....

The 3 disc showed up in my personal gold box for $20.42. If you guys have bought scifi blu ray from Amazon before, chances are it will show up in yours too.

Great review too! Can't wait for the blu-ray.

Just got a link for this on Amazon (3 Disc Blu Ray) for $19.99! Whoo-hoo!! :rock

I'm excited to pick this up tomorrow. I cancelled Lando, cancelled the Sandtrooper... but I made damn sure I would have money for this. It's a must own. :rock

Me too. Sold off most of my stuff recently, but I WILL PICK THIS UP! Best of 2009 IMO (or at least the most fun)

Glad to hear the bluray transfer is excellent. Got it coming from amazon tomorrow.

I ordered the exclusive Enterprise packaging from Target with the DVD, then I'll pick up the Blu-Ray set at Best Buy tomorrow.

This is probably my most anticipated blu-ray release this year.

First thing I'm going to do is watch it with commentary. I love commentaries.

I usually don't care for digital copies (provided for many dvd/br releases nowadays), but with Star Trek I might just put it on my phone.

Just got it from Walmart and finished watching the deleted scenes. Some great stuff in there, especially the extended dorm room/Kobayashi Maru scenes. And then the deleted scene afterward on the Enterprise made me laugh so hard! :rotfl
