You are not. I agree, it kinda looks like they CG’d his eyes, and maybe skin, instead of practical makeup effects.

His eyes certainly might be enhanced by CGI for that glow but Lars said it took a few hours each day to apply the make up.

I'm still so glad they got Lars back as Thrawn, his voice is perfect for Thrawn imo. Soft and calm yet still commanding and sinister.

Yay Thrawn! Finally! And with zombie stormtroopers to boot? Holy crap! Didn’t expect that. And raiding the Nightsister catacombs for more? I really didn’t see Thrawn and zombies being a thing. I guess being wrapped up by the Pergill is what saved Thrawn and Ezra and the rest of the crew died in space? People not familiar with Nightsister zombies from Clone Wars and Jedi Fallen Order are going to be in for a surprise.

It did not occur to me that the Sisters raised dead troopers. That is pretty awesome.

Yeah, he should train for when they continue with Expanse series on Laconia. This would be great opportunity.

I love how these past few episodes have taken us on really interesting worlds and journeys never seen in live action. The witches, the whales, the jiminy cricket clan. All interesting. Also cool to see thrawn.

Great points @Buttmuch. I was thinking how the hell Thrawn and Ezra survived hyperspace travel. By being wrapped up in the Pergill's tentacles and them being force sensitive, it may be a thing. Princess Leia doing her Mary Poppin's.....why not.
