don't know what you saw in that promo pics of AT-RT man, but if the Phase 1 clones, again released under Andor license it kinda defeats the whole purpose for the anticipation of new Andor announcements...not ?

Andor Version phase 2 clone trooper on AT-RT
it is the live action armour as used for Kenobi versions of Purge trooper and 501st clone

You can mainly tell by the seems on forearms and biceps, the belly plate (with 2 straight line "trenches" as opposed to 2 "trenches forming a "y" shape), ill fitting hand plates and gap between chest and back plates.

There are plenty of other figures not announced, I think it’s just a case of a backlog of work that they can’t get to because of the recent Star Wars AOTC etc figures. No Hawkeye, no Ms Marvel, yet they announce She-Hulk is weird. I suspect there won’t be much from Andor, 1-2 figures maybe, fingers crossed they announce after CNY.

Once I forced myself to sit through it, I had to concede that Andor had it's moments.

But none of those moments were when Mon Mothma and her loveless marriage and brainwashed daughter and high-society party guests were on screen.

Any time we went to any of those scenes the flow of time just screeeeeched to a halt and the ten minute scenes felt like ten hours. Excruciating.

SO - I just watched SW Andor, and it's absolutely fabtastic!!!! I watched it all in one go! I just kept playing episode after episode since I found the story to be quite engrossing. Gah man, this, I just really like this RAW story and storytelling. It's great to see this perspective from a rebellion's point of view, the ISB's point of view, and how they intermingle. All the characters were great in it and the various settings were nice to visit. Plus, this series gives RO so much more weight, so much more.

Great interview with Gilroy and Luna about half way through this. There is going to be a longer version but it will be behind their paywall.

What an amazing shown. It's really boils down to Story and script . You get that right all the rest will follow. Despite being a lower budget then a movie it really shines and is well put together .

Sure it's not fleshly and you can't sell a bunch of toys of it like mando , boba or obi one but it is miles ahead in terms of Story and acting. The pacing is great no filler episodes or just pointless episodes that don't progress the over all story.

Bob iger is considered about the cost of the shower and movies . No you need to concer yourself with the quality of Story and not the special effect budget.

Just like Rouge One a great story despite not having any Jedi being show cased but a good story none the less.

I worry that Ashoka and Acolyte will be a big let down a return to weak story and cheap gimmicks to sell merchandise and capture nostalgia as opposed to quality shows .

Fantastic Celebration poster by Sam Gilbey!

That poster illustrates one of the biggest problems with Andor: no aliens.

It's all just humans, doing human things, with an occasional interaction with a droid. Other than background aliens walking near Andor's mom's house, I don't remember any.

That's why it feels more like a 1980s British sci-fi shown on PBS than an actual Star Wars show.

Agreed. Total lack of diversity.

And I don't think George would approve.

*George isn't here*

Well I don't approve.
