... are these Troopers caught sans helmets, or Rebels infiltrating a garrison?

Hmm, Andor appears to be in the same hall as them?

Still more jarring then the music for me, is his whole Count of Montecristo look. :lol
(watch it be the figure we finally get from HT)

Though dude, is a spy, all about fitting in where he doesn't belong.
Or Luthen arranged for some of that Mothma Champaign-Rebel flow, to finally come his way.
Ever since his first scene, this guy has easily become one of my favorite, and most intriguing SW characters.

Trailer reminds me of the stuff I like about Andor.....

....and the stuff I hated.

Number one being how UN-Star Wars-y so much of it, particularly the guy going to his boring, mundane office job....in a SUIT AND TIE. I get that offices certainly exist in a galaxy far, far away, but the necktie?? Really??

I keep finding myself in the minority lately... ...I liked the music choice for the trailer and I still like the Disney stormtrooper armour. Sure the OT helmets are works of art with history and a pedigree, can't take that away from them ... but I maintain that the more functional approach to the re-design sells it for me.

I also like the way they actually use their scopes (as far as it goes). These stormtroopers are still cannon fodder or stick fodder often enough, but they feel like a more credible threat especially for characters lacking plot armour.

EDIT: ... and those X-Wings look amazing!

Likely ISB agents or something similar
We see their general breastplate design in Snowtroopers, the Mimban-deployed grunts in Solo, Dengar in ESB ... and it looks like on their riot cops in the trailer. They're doing a great job maintaining the era in terms of costuming and production design. The buildings in the wheat field are straight out of a McQuarrie painting, too.

The original is actually better.

Anyway, finally something SW related to get excited about!
Music preferences aside, yeah, it's great to be in fandom when a lot of the fans are enthused. *Shockingly*:monkey3 have read comments on YT and other places that the series is boring -

well, ok, it's not everyone's tea. IMO it is some of the finest acting and writing I have had the pleasure to watch.

Not that I don't enjoy a frenemy bro action-packed film, or something like Predator, but for me this adds a richness to the OT.

(Dipping into thread quickly)

Haven't seen (won't see) any trailers, but I keep seeing this thread in the Latest Posts section. Very much anticipating this show and I can't wait to watch it!

(Dipping out immediately to avoid any and all spoilers)
Andor dies!
