Star Wars Black Bespin Luke, Stormtrooper and Obi-Wan Kenobi review

Hasbro's terrific Star Wars Black series (the 6" of course) continues with their first release of 2014. This wave includes Luke in his Bespin gear, a young Obi-Wan, and a clean Stormtrooper. I picked up the wave and have my review up tonight:

Thanks for the review. Is anyone repainting these? I think that Luke could look really swell with a new paint job.

I'd be up for repainting them. I planned on repainting Leia but her factory aps grew on me after I displayed her for awhile.

Obi-Wan needs a repaint badly. After his lines are cleaned up a bit. Still incredibly disappointing that he didn't come with a robe. WTF hasbro?

Obi wan is the first pass for me in this series. Luke's eyes will vary fig to fig heavily. the one on mine is decent -

Nice review, but as I said it would be cool if you'd take a bit of time and adding the direct link to each of your reviews in your threads. This way after some time, when you have multiple other reviews out there and this goes down, it would be easier to find.

Ahh.. the old faithful ANH trooper guide.

I'm just not feeling the buzz for these 6" SW figures at all to be honest. I'm a SW tragic, & yet while initially I thought I'd be getting a few here & there.. none of them (bar possibly the Sandtrooper) have grabbed my interest. There's something fundamentally wrong with just about all of the figures released so far, & that's put me off I guess.

One of my most anticipated figures from this line - Chewbacca, looks like a stretch-o Sasquatch.

I've seen the other up & coming ones too; Vader, Obi-Wan etc - & they just look.... rushed.

Not into'em.

I hear ya , Vintij. I know I sound like a broken record at this point but at $20 a pop I just think they should look better. I know Neca has its issues but I feel much better paying $20 for a nice looking weathered, with a pretty good likeness Neca then these slightly looking better upscaled Hasbro figures. I like the troopers thus far. I'm looking forward to Threepio. If he looks good then I'll pick up the droids. I was looking forward to Vader, but you say he's rushed? I gotta go look.

Just saw them. Chewy is probably the worst of the entire line so far. I still like the 3 3/4 version.

Vader is bad. I like Jabba, and biker scout is great actually.

Actually - yeah, the Bikerscout & Speederbike is great.

I don't need it though, because I've got two sets (unopened) of that fairly recent updated 3.75" Scout & bike set.

Jabba is also good - you're right.
