Crap, I volunteered to work during the Lucas presentation. What do I do?

I wonder if I'll actually be working the presentation? Hmm...

How many thousand people will be camping out for a wristband? :panic:

I'm game. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me I think. My question is how early do I have to get there? You going for it Darth Waller?

And another thing. What's with these tiny rooms at the show? 2600 is all the Celebration Stage will handle, while at SDCC you can pack what, like 8000 fans into Hall H?

I'm still freaking out, and I don't think I will rest easy until I have made it into that room on August 14th.

:panic:

You'll probably be keeping the 30-something thousand people who can't see him at bay. :lol

Lucas is Saturday @ 11 AM:

The Main Event runs from 11 AM to 12 Noon (or a little later) on Saturday, August 14 in the Celebration Stage (Chapin Theater) in the Orange County Convention Center. The Celebration Stage seats approximately 2,600. As there are many more than 2,600 fans at SWCV who'll wish to attend, The Main
Event is being broadcast live at the following locations:

Digital Stage (Valencia A) - 1,600 Seats
Behind-The-Scenes Stage (W414 ABCD) - 1,200 Seats
Fan Stage (W311 ABCD) - 800 Seats

In total, 6,200 attendees will be able to watch The Main Event at SWCV. If you are interested in being one of them — to attend The Main Event either in the Celebration Stage or in one of its satellite theaters — you DO NOT need an additional ticket, but you DO NEED a free wristband. Wristbands are given out first, come first served on Saturday morning starting at 6 AM. Unless you are a Jedi Knight or Master badge holder.

I'll be a camper! :lecture

Just found out that there is no chance I'll be working at the Lucas presentation.

Whatevs. I'll stick with my doorguard position during the presentation. I don't do camping except in CoD:MW2. :)

I'm there with you guys. I must see Lucas! When do we need to start the camp out? All night? I sure hope there is a bathroom nearby, or that we can make runs to our room with line holders, those being our mighty Freak force of Star Wars Freak fans. I'll be wearing my shirt during the camp out.

Man, I'm going to get funky! :lol
