What's also interesting is that out of all 6 bounty hunters, Boba, Bossk and Dengar were all in Jabba's palace, so why not work together on and off?

And about Boba talking too much and then later saying almost nothing in ESB 20+ years later? A lot can happen in 20 years so why would he act the same when he is young?

LOVED this episode!!! More please! ;)

From Wookiepedia:
I'm not sure about Bossk, but Dengar is in it. He's at Jabba's Palace. He's hard to see, but he is there. You can get a clear view of him right after Luke and the guard fall into the rancor pit. When Lando's moving Jabba's dais towards the pit, look on the left hand side of the screen and you'll see Dengar. As for Bossk, I've seen a picture of him there, but haven't seen him yet in the actual film. Not to say he's not there, just that I haven't noticed him yet.

EDIT: Verbal, ya beat me to it! :D Thanks!

Actually man, I think you're wrong. I've read ahead and she and Obi Wan team up to fight Maul and Opress, just not sure if that'll be this season. That will be epic!!!

Oh, you're right! I just saw the trailer for the last two eps on SW.com and Asajj is definitely gonna be integral. That's even more awesome than I could have hoped!! Also shows Maul with the cybernetic legs from the Visionaries comic - thank jeebuz! GREAT use of the EU there!

Thing about these two eps...the only characters they've shown involved who we know will not perish are Obi Wan and Dooku. Everyone else is fair game. I wouldn't be disappointed if Maul, Savage, and/or Mother Talzin were finished off (though I think Savage still has story potential left in him yet). I really don't want Ventress to die, though. I'm hoping she'll do whatever she needs to do and the writers let her slip off into uncharted space at the end of show to pursue her own path, but I have a feeling she might meet a tragic, noble demise. This would certainly have an emotional punch at this stage of things, but that's exactly it - I'd be saddened if she died, especially knowing that the Sith/Palpatine will ultimately win the war anyway. Ah, well, we'll see...!

Oh, and as for "not caring about the characters in this episode" you do know this is Asajj's story, right? It's part of the arc they started back in Season 3 with her betrayal at the hands of Plapatine/Dooku. The bounty hunters were simply supporting characters, and I thought they were cool and interesting.

And the critique that it seems unrealistic that 3 ESB-era bounty hunters would work together during the Clone Wars? What's so odd about that? It doesn't seem unusual at all for bounty hunters to form teams (we've seen it several times, including in films - Jango & Zam), Bossk and young Boba have been a pair since their intro on the CW, and a slew of the galaxy's best bounty hunters just got slain or jailed like, what, 3 episodes ago? So that narrows the pool of available talent. Seems like the Bounty hunters have a fair amount of networking going on in the underground. What's unrealistic is Anakin building C-3PO, but that's another story... :lol

Check out Dengar's ROTJ blaster rifle. Would be cool if SS made that his exclusive! ;)

That'd be pretty cool actually. Before Dengar's appearance on last night's episode, I was only planning on buying Bossk and ROTJ Fett, but now, I want to get Dengar as well. I'll be very happy with only having the 3 of them. The ROTJ Bounty Hunters, if you will

Aw, but SSC did such a good job with IG-88 - he really does look awesome! If you can get him below retail on the sale threads, I'd say go for it, you won't be disappointed!

yeah, I looks great and I originally was planning on owning him along with Fett and Bossk, but I cancelled my EX at the last minute:monkey2 Although I am keeping an eye open for any deals that may come along for him:D

Don't forget to remove Dengar's backpack then. ;)

A few weeks ago I commented that young Boba reminds me more and more of the whiny, nasally kid with glasses from The Polar Express and then this week they go and put him on a train! :lol :duh

Next week Boba gets to take revenge for not getting the first gift of Christmas this year.

He's a kid man, and kid's talk. Save the brooding for the adults!

Sorry, don't see that little punk transforming into the legenday stealthy and minimalist Bobafett.

He sounds more like a young Deadpool.

IGN review:
"Also, while Asajj Ventress had some snark about the situation, why would five adult Bounty Hunters (well, four adults and a Droid) allow a teenager to be their leader? What had Boba accomplished by that point to put him in such a position?"
:exactly:

I wish they were doing a 1 hour finale next week, but at least they aren't showing the first episode and then making us wait a week or 2 for the other one.

Wow I never noticed Bossk or Denagr in RotJ. Thanks for posting pictures! Would have been really cool to see either of them immediately react to Boba Fett being sucked down the sarlaac. I know in the comics Dengar rescues Boba, but seeing them in disbelief would have been nice. But at the time I'm sure it wasn't planned that they would spend so much history together before the events of RotJ.

As for Asajj, I realize I like her more as a sith, or even a sith on the run. But now that it seems that she's abandoned her plot for revenge and is making her way across the galaxy, it just doesn't have any weight to it in my opinion. I definitely don't like her as a bounty hunter yet, but the idea of a force user becoming a bounty hunter can be interesting. But using her as a means to create more screen time and silly backstory fodder for Boba Fett just doesn't click for me. Again, why is Boba Fett leading anybody? LAst we saw of him, he couldn't kill clones, got abandoned by Sing, and almost got his ass kicked by Obi-Wan in disguise.

Definitely looking forward to the next two weeks. I don't think anybody will die this season. They won't kill Maul so soon again. They'll milk him next season before he meets his demise by the end of the series. Asajj is an interesting x-factor that can go in any direction at this point, so killing her off now seems unlikely unless of course she sacrifices herself to save Obi-Wan or something MAJOR like that. I still half expect Savage to "wake up" and become the honorable warrior that he used to be, to realize what he has done wrong. Maybe he kills Maul? :monkey1 I'm 50/50 if Savage will live or die. The obvious choice seems to be right him off sometime next season or when Maul dies, but I can also see him breaking Talzin's spell and killing her ala Vader killing Palpatine.

There are indeed interesting possibilities here. Hopefully each character goes out in badass fashion if they do go out and leave no bad taste like Maul's or Boba's "deaths"

Please tell me you're not using an IGN review to support your opinion :slap

:wink1:

Ok, watching season 4 now, and holy hell, its off to a pretty boring start. 4 water-centric episodes involving Gungans in part no less? Argh. Makes season 3 openers look like masterpieces....
