I liked seeing the werewolf guy getting taken out fairly easily and quickly...he was getting on my nerves. It was a fun reveal to have Jod as the new "big bad." If they stick with him being a truly bad guy and not "redeem" him in some way in the last episode, I'll be surprised. It's better if he really is a rotten guy with no redemption arc. Either way, I'm sure his greed will end up being his undoing, as it always is in these stories.

Rumor: Skeleton Crew Characters Will Return To Star Wars In A Surprising Way

The Star Wars: Skeleton Crew cast may return to the franchise soon. However, their rumored next appearance may not be what fans expect.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew has been praised for its sense of adventure and the performances of an endearing cast. With just two episodes left (as of this writing), the fates of Jude Law's Jod Na Nawood, Ravi Cabot-Conyers' Wim, Ryan Kiera Armstrong's Fern, Kyriana Kratter's KB, and Robert Timothy Smith's Neel remain unknown. While Star Wars: Skeleton Crew season 2 ideas are already formulating in the heads of series creators Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, it appears that some of the characters will return even if Disney doesn't renew the show for another season.

Reputable scooper Daniel Richtman says he heard "characters from Skeleton Crew will appear in the Filoni crossover film." Richtman is presumably referring to Filoni's untitled New Republic Star Wars movie, which has been billed as the culmination of stories from The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, and The Book of Boba Fett. Of course, Richtman did not specify which Skeleton Crew characters will allegedly appear in Filoni's Star Wars movie. While the eponymous Skeleton Crew kids or Jod Na Nawood are the show's main characters and therefore the most popular picks, the series features multiple supporting faces that could return for the anticipated Star Wars crossover film.

Plot details for Filoni's Star Wars movie are thin and Skeleton Crew has yet to wrap its storyline, so it's unclear how the two will connect. However, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is juggling a few mysteries, including the true identity of Jod Na Nawood, who seems to go by many different names. Fans also have a sense that something sinister is afoot on the planet At Attin, the homeworld of the Skeleton Crew kids. The resolution of these plotlines may clarify how Filoni's Star Wars movie is connected to Skeleton Crew, which thus far is largely removed from the events of The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Book of Boba Fett.

Filoni's Star Wars movie is expected to feature Thrawn as the main villain and past Star Wars shows have dropped hints at this. The Mandalorian established that the sinister Moff Gideon was a member of the Shadow Council, a group of Imperial Warlords that sought to undermine the New Republic after the Galactic Empire fell. Among the topics discussed by the council are the whereabouts of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who was viewed as the best candidate to lead the Empire's remnants but went missing after the events of Star Wars Rebels. Ahsoka resolved the mystery of Thrawn's fate when Dark Jedi Baylan Skoll, his apprentice Shin Hati, and Morgan Elsbeth located Thrawn in a different Galaxy. Thrawn returns to the main Star Wars galaxy with an army of Stormtrooper at his side, presumably to rally the remnants of the Empire behind him.

The Mandalorian and Grogu movie cast includes a Star Wars villain from the Shadow Council, so the film will likely continue this storyline. As of the writing, Thrawn's return and the remnants of the Empire are the strongest connections between the "MandoVerse" Star Wars shows. So, if Skeleton Crew is included among the shows that will crossover in Filoni's new Star Wars movie, there's a solid chance the show's characters find themselves embroiled in the conflict between Imperial loyalists and the New Republic, a conflict that may provide answers about how the First Order was formed.

Another good episode.

Some nice shots of the city...

...and a rather big health and safety issue that should be looked into...

Jod's ironic comment pretty much confirmed that the Supervisor is a droid.

We've heard why At Attin was a treasure planet, and now seen it...

Things are wrapping up, and since it's not a 'Lost in Space' theme any more where would a second season go with the kids?
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the supervisor. Unless it's Tak Rennod - I can't remember if we've already seen his corpse on the Onyx Cinder. Maybe
it's a droid with Rennod's downloaded memories & personality? :lol

It seems like there's a good chance that At Attin
was/is a secret Imperial installation and the mint will be tied to the Shadow Council and funding Thrawn's attempt to reestablish the Empire. The civilians there are either slave labor (hence the droid watchdogs) or are oblivious to the current state of the galaxy given the ban on outside communication. Or both. I thought the total number of vaults (1139) was going to be a hint to this, but beyond a Clone Commander Doom with that designation (who died in 2 BBY) I couldn't find a connection. Unless it's a very weak THX-1138 reference, with 1138 being the # of other vaults besides the one they're inside.

Not sure how exactly it would work, but I think it could be cool to revisit these kids in a few years, and watch them develop into a more experienced crew that isn't quite as hopelessly naive about space travel.

I certainly can't see them returning to life as normal after all this.
