When yu look at the artbook designs yu can only be dissapointed at his they played it safe in every angles.
There are sold really epic grand and impressive designs set pieces.
Same thing storywise, the sledghammer was balsy.
I have more faith in Rian Johnson to deliver a cool original scifi star wars with jedis going akira ^^

likely because she has previously spent time with them as a child... we see in Rey's flashback the junk dealer (who is in possession of the Falcon) taking her hand... we see him on the com as soon as Rey takes the ship...

perhaps it isn't Leia's place to say something... if anything, for Rey's own protection...

the final scene between Luke and Rey... my guess is that look on his face isn't simply because of his old lightsaber...

Great piloting skills, language skills and being mechanically adept seems to go hand in hand with being a powerful Jedi.
They're just perks.
Some other perks that have been described is healing, influence, fighting/dueling skills, foresight, battle meditation, insight, etc
Rey is an uber Jedi with two force adept parents so she probably has double the perks and learns them faster.
Luke gives her that look because it's his daughter and she probably looks a lot like her dead mother.
But it's all guessing at this point.

EDIT: Actually the original link (blu-ray.com) now has a TBD release date. I'm wondering if Disney is rethinking that release in case it goes the distance and is still in theaters then.

I'm going to say something controversial and run away: I honestly thought Fury Road did most of the things this film's likely to get awards nominations for better (music, sound design, cinematography, costumes, special effects, etc). Stronger performances from the principle cast too.

In a just world, Fury Road should be the film topping $800 million domestically - at least in my opinion.
