Happy belated Easter presents to ourselves.
I wonder if the Blu Ray is worth getting though, maybe just the digital copy for now because maybe if we wait for the complete set of movies they' ll add more to the set when it's completed like they did with LOTR.
But if I wait I'm looking at possibly 2020 and beyond for the completed set right
I've already got my preorder in for the Disney litho set.
Those are nice though, saw them in person at the Disneystore
Yeah, seeing them in person (and being able to take that set home that day) is what prompted me to pre-order the Blu-ray there as well.
Oh you got the lithos early? That's cool. I ordered online to have them delivered to my house but it sounds like doing it in the store was the better way to go.
Yeah, I didn't even know they actually have them physically in the store until I went in to get their BB-8 mug and saw the Lithos (and Folder) on display. I asked, "Do you get to take these home now if you pre-order?" and the clerk said "Yes", and I was like "Take my money!!"
It actually is a nice set, and larger than I expected. You'll be pleased.
I'd go to the store. With shipping the lithos get risk of damage. Remember these are very thin and the folder they put them in isn't that thick
But some people still don't have a DS near them so I can understand. I have four with another one opening up soon around my area.
If you live in MN I'm sure you have to have one in the Mall of America right?

So everyone thinks the Disney Store version is the best one to get because of the lithos? I was going to get the Target one because it had the extra extras, but then found out they're web-only extras so now I'm back to square one! I don't really care about steelbooks one way or the other so that's not much of a consideration.

I imagine that Mall is so huge it's more of a inconvenience to shop at unless you have a lot of shopping to do or a lot of time on your hands.
Yep, free lithos + best cover of the bunch (which is just the standard slipcase) = Disney Store for the win. Just go in to the store like the guys above mentioned so you can go home with some nice mint lithos right then and there.
Yeah it isn't worth it unless you're specifically going there for a specialty shop that isn't in any other local mall (and there are a good number of those.)

Thanks. I believe all the releases have the same content, so really they're all basically the same except for the packaging. Getting those lithos is a nice bonus. I have a Disney Store in the mall right near me so I guess I know where I'll be going this weekend!
It's not the best. Only how you want it. For those that want a bonus disc Target is great. The fanatics will be happy with the four different covers from Walmart. Steel book from Best Buy is a collector's choice. Etc, etc. there is no wrong version to own, just what is your preference.
For me I like going to the store. But like Khev, I'm lazy and don't want to go to Target, BB, Walmart early to get the exclusives. But I know they will sell out and I'll have to wait a few days. Of course I can order online, but my stores always have these hot films on sale on release day even beating the sales price online, so I don't mind going to the store to buy it.

My Aladdin lithos arrives just fine so I hope the SW ones do as well.
