was busy putting on the pod race for my son, he loves the PT.

I wonder how different it'd have been to grow up watching movies with DVDs instead of VHS. I always just watched the entire movie but if I had a DVD, I could see probably skipping around to the battles and stuff in the OT.

I never rewinded my VHS tapes before taking them back to the video store.

PT a travesty- not just bad SW movies but bad movies period. People are in extreme denial. I tried to watch AOTC again awhile back and turned it off. The other two are marginally better but still just misfires.

I really like the prequels. For completely different reasons than I love the OT.

I'm not an all or nothing type of person. I can watch Clone Wars, The Xmas Special, god even Rebels, which looks worse than anything I've seen so far.
They don't tarnish the OT for me. Nothing will.

I enjoyed far too many things in the PT to ***** about them as a whole, the music, the design, some of the performances.
I just enjoy them for what they are.

I didn't think his post was in conflict with yours and Rory's viewpoints. Heck even I like Qui-Gon Jinn despite holding the opinion that he is a completely pointless character who was actually to the detriment of the overall story.

There's room to think some things were alright while still resenting the **** out of the PT overall

The bit where 'Star Wars' came onto the screen at the start was done well too I thought. However it went pearshaped immediately following.
