Yeah, I don't dislike it as much as I did in the morning. Once all the hype and expectations go away and I look at it for what it is, and not what I wanted it to be, it's alright. I wouldn't put this teaser in my top 10 teasers I've seen, not even close, but it's not that bad either.

T2...now that was a teaser I'll never forget.

I was just thinking about this teaser earlier today. Total Recall was already an awesome movie. But to get this in the previews of the VHS tape? Perfection.

I liked the trailer. Its hard for me to not get excited for this movie. A movie I never thought I would ever see be made.

True, but this is 30 years after the events of ROTJ, you'd think the baton would've been passed by now.

JJA is only being charged with the Herculean task of breathing new life into a storied, beloved franchise while trying to win back a fanbase that felt largely disillusioned/betrayed by the PT.

The syfy/fan film criticisms feel too harsh for me.

I think their intentions were to show off the kinetic energy that not even the PT possessed.

This is fast, Mace Windu was slow.

Curious now how the OT cast will look and move in this.

Idk, yeah it was kinda all over the place and nothing made any sense, but it's too early to tell.

No matter what, we will all be there.

How cool would a brief shot of Mark Hamill or HF have been in this teaser?

Indeed, we wish him all the best. But he won't get a free pass and ultimately the movie (and sequel trilogy) will be judged on its merits.

I for one will probably like it regardless, like I did with the prequels, because it's Star Wars and still better than a lot of the other stuff out there.

I for one will probably like it regardless, like I did with the prequels, because it's Star Wars and still better than a lot of the other stuff out there.

Like most everybody else, I'd be feeling a lot more confident about this if it weren't for those prequels. But aren't we all looking forward to seeing Luke, Leia and Han again, for the very first time?

This 88 seconds felt more like SW to me than all of the PT.

This is is the reason why I'm enjoying it.

While funny, many here have been warning that cgi would be just as heavy in this as the PT.

The more i watch it the more satisfied i am it seems. I think i will piss myself when i see Luke and Han though!!
(Love the vibe coming off of that Rebel pilot.. OT-ish)

I also like the fact that Driver's character is a collector of ancient sith artifacts,(rumor) which i am sure that is what the saber is. (which makes it even more cool)
