Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I personally love the idea of one off films as well as the new trilogy. We can get a Boba Fett film that explores his story more and what happened between the time of Jango's death and him working for Jabba. Or how cool would it be to get a Vader film that shows his rise between Episode III and IV hunting down Jedi.

The Boba Fett idea of what happened between AotC and ANH is already on the cards, its The Live Action TV Series. Hopefully now Disney are involved we might get it by next Xmas:pray:

A Vader film would sell like hot cakes, big question is do they get Hayden Christensen to play deep fried crispy Anakin?

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I want Boba Fett from ROTJ onward. Don't care about any of that Clone Wars crap.

And please god, no more Vader. He's had enough. Let the big guy rest.

I don't think they need Hayden since it would be after he is in the suit. All they need is a tall dude and James Earl Jones's voice.

As far as the live action series. I don't think that was a done deal for sure but either way now that Disney owns the rights, I would actually prefer a big budget film then a weekly series IMO.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Luke Vs Vader in ESB will always trump any of those PT's saber fights.

There isn't that much sword play involved in ESB, after Luke knocks Vader off the carbon freezing platform theres only a little more when Luke more or less merely fends off Vader before losing his sword. Obi-Wan v Vader in ANH looks slow and dated by the Prequel's standards and Luke v Vader in RotJ is boring until Luke loses his temper.

I hope the only person who uses a Saber is old ass Luke.

If only Luke uses a lightsaber then who will he fight??? I'd be happy with Luke, Leia and a couple of Jedi apprentices taking on a Sith lord, his/her apprentice and may be Dathomir witch or 2.

I think after the little reveal in ESB a scene of Vader in his chamber unmasked to show the pain and suffering that he goes through for the next 24 years would be almost certain, and the mental torture that is due to it being all down to his own doing.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Im all for one off movies outside the episode run. It would be cool to sandwich them in between the episode releases. BUt I don't really care to see any movies that take place between other movies. More retcon. That's all that would be. Besides I don't need to see every single solitary detail of what happened to whom and when.

Absolutely and that was all done by just showing a moment of the back of his head. So no Hayden in my opinion.

I just want to see Vader back on screen at least one more time in all his badass glory. I want to see him take out Jedi like they always said he did. I don't need it beaten to death or a whole trilogy on it. Just one solid movie showing some of that part of his life.

No one. Leave them alone. No need to over use them again. Keep them very reserved.

Why? Was Alec? (I'm all for it, but it's not really needed) I mean who knows what if any kinda fighting he'll be doing.

Now that Lucas is done creatively with the SW movies, i truly hope this means an end to burp and fart jokes in a Galaxy far far away
