What matters to me is that Disney delivers a good movie.
True.
But however it opens, it WILL be different, and it will be strange at first. At first.
For me it'll be different but not strange.
Lucas is still very much involved with the franchise. I don't think they'll alter the already world reknown intro.

It seems "Star Wars" mastermind George Lucas won't have much influence over "Star Wars: Episode 7."
The filmmaker behind the franchise explained that he made suggestions for the film, but they weren't used.

Speaking to CinemaBlend, the creator of the sci-fi series explained that while he presented Disney with his ideas for what would happen next, "they came up to the decision that they didn’t really want to do those. So they made up their own.”

It was revealed in a recent interview that George Lucas, the father of the Star Warsmovies, had originally planned to make Star Wars: Episode 7 before Disney purchased Lucasfilm. He even began developing some ideas for the next installment, which he passed along to Disney. As it turns out, though, the Mouse House and J.J. Abrams didn’t use Lucas’ treatment ideas for the current script.

George Lucas is not involved with the creation of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. When interviewed by Stephen Colbert about the forthcoming sequel, the now-retired filmmaker said "I'm excited, I have no idea what they're doing"—theybeing director J.J. Abrams and his team.

I don't care whether Disney places their logo in the intro of the movie or not. That's trivial IMO.
What matters to me is that Disney delivers a good movie.
Then you're only getting 50% of what I'm getting out of it already.
