Wow, I used to come in here after a night to find 20 pages of new posts... now, only a little over a month after opening, the conversation amounts to one page.
WH: Sad.
I, like everyone (both TLJ fans and haters) have no burning questions whatsoever - plot developments, character revelations, relationships or outcomes (all staples of episodic SW films) - that need answering in Ep IX. Whether you loved it or hated it, there's no story or character momentum to make you want to see IX - the story is dead in the water at the end of TLJ. This makes it way easier to walk away from the ST.
Well, from memory, the ESB novelization was released a MONTH before the movie came out, so no surprises in the "what would happen" department. I guess embargoes were only used by Arab oil nations back then.
Clearly we're down to the important posts based on the above.
But the amount of posts within that 6 week window is equivalent to 4-6 months worth of posts for many other movies so it falling off is really nothing alarming.
Did you really expect another 6 weeks at that crazy pace.
Attention will soon be fully given to Solo anyways so in the down time enjoy some Black Panther and IW.
Low box office low posts

Now Wor-Gar is tracking the weekly percentage drop-off of posts.
I hear that TLJ memes cratered on Chinese messageboards after just one week, lol.
Wor’s response to Xipo was pretty damn funny though I just don’t buy into his “sad” analysis lol
Mark Hamill said he told Rian that they needed to make a movie for the fans and that Rian replied "No. We need to think about our movie and what we want to do." Then people in the audience started clapping and Mark stopped talking mid sentence with a disgusted look on his face and he looked down with hands covering his mouth, shaking his head. Rian says he doesn't care if the fans hate the film because he appreciates their passion.
I think the jury fell asleep about ten videos ago. Better wrap it up, counsellor.
