Sundays around here used to be so boring. 
I really don't mind the Porg....I just hope it a minor character....we already have BB8 for the cute factor....
I have a bad feeling he will be the "reaction" character....
"Oh no it's danger!" Insert Porg hiding its face....
"Look it's Han back from the dead!" insert Porg jumping up and down.
"Uh Oh her comes that bad guy Kylo Ren!" Insert Porg running away down the hall making a squeaking sound...

I'm calling it now, that scene in the trailer where the TIE's chase the Falcon over the water will be the Porgs leading them on a wild goose chase as Rey races to the shore, extended saber in hand.
Chewie will growl to the main Porg piloting the ship which will cue super cute chirping and subtitles that say "Never tell me the odds."
Rian Johnson said that even though he's dead Han Solo will still have a strong presence in the film and now we know how, lol.
