Much better than the tfa trailers . Looks like something new for once. Hopefully it doesn’t fall into esb territory or anything . It would be quite a twist if Rey turns into the dark side. Hopefully Disney has the balls to do that

Some of it looks like it has McQuarrie DNA...the rest looks over-designed.

The music and the cinematography are throwing me off a little.

Of course I'm gonna go watch it, but I've turned this story over in my head repeatedly since enjoying TFA, and it's just too cynical a construct to generate love from me. I'll be entertained by it and even transported, because it's likely to be a well-crafted fantasy film...but Han's death and Starkiller Base were what ultimately soured me on the ST; which is to say I don't consider it part of my personal canon so much as a very expensive exercise in "What if...?"

It's okay, you can never go back and I still think this'll be exciting.

Yep. Incredibly by the numbers and generic. It's like two steps above Bayformers.

I think it looks good, but that's it, it evokes absolutely nothing from me. This could be Valerian 2, Ender's Game 2 or whatever.

While we don’t agree on much, I’m inclined to agree. I mentioned those exact words to the wife.

I’ll need to watch it a few more times. Tho I did enjoy the gorilla walkers ....

Now was it a mistake having Luke talk in this trailer instead of saving it for the movie or no big deal.

His TFA cameo had everyone waiting to hear him YET he actually spoke in the TFA trailer lol.

Imagine if Kylo killed Leia and Luke along with Han. Would he become the most disliked SW character eva ????

I’m assuming Kylo can’t kill Leia which makes Snoke consider him weak then he heads for Rey but I like my scenario better

Kylo is headed for his predicted redemption through sacrifice... so his edge will be softened in this movie. It's very clear now.

Once Snoke prefers Rey, its all downhill for Kylo... he knows he's been tricked and Pops was right.

I really wanted to see him do something. I wanted Grandmaster Luke. He's Yoda now, so he should be the one impressing Rey with his kewl powers.

I really liked the cutting back and forth between Kylo holding fire on the ship and Leia looking at the screen. It really showed strength and uncertainty between Leia and Kylo.
