Well here's mud in your eye. They SW we all want will not really ever happen. SW is mainly a vehicle for kids....and dorky adults. Therefore Porgs , Ewoks, gungans, droids....are all added to keep the kids happy.

There has to be marketing involved it's SW. The closest thing we will ever have to a SW movie for adults is RO. We all just have a hard time accepting that we love SW because of the kid in all of us...

Just because we got crotchety, dark and cynical with age does not mean the SW formula will change.
