deja vu
This happened yesterday but seems weird it happened to both version at the same time.Low stock on side for both versions.
I get that, I mostly wanted the base that came with the deluxe and an extra $30 was worth that and the other few extras for me. The Grogu didn't enter into the equation for me personally because, as you said, way too many grogu figures at this pointThis is the only release i have ever purchased that i did not opt to go with the deluxe edition. Mostly because i couldn't justify the extra cost for yet another Grogu.
Yeah I thought that was strange too. This happened yesterday but seems weird it happened to both version at the same time.
and something similar is going on with Reva and grand inquisitor too. Idk what constitutes low stock for sideshow. But so far the only one I've seen go to waitlist I can think of is Kate Bishop. But I hate all this pre order now or miss out when something isn't really out yet.Yeah I thought that was strange too.
Doc Ock, Valkerie, Robocop, R2D2 and Book of Boba Fett Boba are waitlisted too.and something similar is going on with Reva and grand inquisitor too. Idk what constitutes low stock for sideshow. Without getting lewd, I think a lot of the realism includes how the airbags hang (so many companies make em float like bolt ons) while the shoulders look more natural than most seamless bodies. The thickness of the body and legs that aren't overly long really helps too (again, many companies seem to make legs overly long). Tightness of the arm sleeves really helps sell the illusion too.Much like the prototype, there is something about this figure that "Wows" me more than their other figures, especially their female figures. I don't know if it's the tailoring on the outfit or if it's the overall proportion, but there is something about this figure that screams 1/1 scale more than their other figures. Something similar to the feeling I get when I see Inart figures, although slightly less so here overall.
You can tell me these are shots of a 1/1 statue of Ahsoka and I would probably believe you. Really impressed with this figure. I think it's them being able to properly scale the details here down to 1/6 better than they have on other figures. The tailoring, proportions and seamless shoulders really help sell this one for me. Really tempted to pick her up. I think the likeness is just slightly off but better than the prototype likeness.
Yeah I think the proportions + tailoring + seamless + her not having a completely human face/hair really helps sell this figure better than their other female figures so far. You don't really see any joints. The wrists/ankles are covered by the armor guards, the elbows are covered by sleeves and her neck seam is covered by the tendrils as well.Without getting lewd, I think a lot of the realism includes how the airbags hang (so many companies make em float like bolt ons) while the shoulders look more natural than most seamless bodies. Well i was really getting into the idea of getting Rex for 180 but since rex has been out since october and this isnt even out yet from sideshow and already listed as low stock, and now grand inquisitor is waitlisted, i pulled the trigger. The figure looks really really good. The blogger pictures im not sure how much the sculpt looks like the actress but the figure actually looked more like the character of Ahsoka which seems like a win to me. Nothing against Rosario meant by this comment, just like that it looks more like the star wars character its supposed to represent.
Your probably right, but I've been waiting for this figure for as long as i can remember knowing about it, so didn't want to gamble too much. And even though the rex release looks really good, i know there are more clones coming if i want that clone look in the collection. But yeah, I hate sales tactics that put pressure on the buyer.Don't get to frightened about the low stock and waitlisted items when the figure is stll on Pre-Order, they'll be available when the figure is in their warehouse.
That’s probably true but we don’t know that for sure yet, and won’t know until some of these ‘sold out’ figures actually ship. None who have been waitlisted or even ‘waitlist full’ have released yet after Sideshow seemingly began reducing their order quantities for new pre-orders last year.Don't get to frightened about the low stock and waitlisted items when the figure is stll on Pre-Order, they'll be available when the figure is in their warehouse.
Ok. These ones got me excited now. Was worried it wasn’t as good as prototype but definitely happy!
I hope so, that's what I ordered too. I don't think I've ever had a DX release before, just the rescue die cast which comes in foam.Looks so good! That seamless body really has some range to it. The side eye look is really where it’s at on this one. I wonder if the box is as fancy on the non-deluxe (which is what I ordered).
