Well looks like we have our first candidate for a new Ahsoka figure...
It was better than this

But nah I'm good :lol

Thoughts guys...Do I pick this up or wait for the figures from the show??

I haven't started on the show yet as I have only just started watching the Clone wars cartoons & want to see Rebels etc. before I get into her own show (heard you need to be fairly clued up on Rebels) before you start her show but I've always had a soft spot for Ahsoka since the beginning & really loved her in Mando so this one is tugging at my wallet a bit lol

She will be my only Star Wars figure as well...I don't have any others lol

I'm fairly confident that they will do a 2.0 of Ahsoka. You may want to wait for that one because her lekku look better. They might also do a better job with the head sculpt.

By the way, I don't think you really need to watch all of Rebels to fully enjoy this show. I think there's a guide out there on which episodes are the most important.

Yeah my thoughts are I don't want to get this only for there to be a better version from her show
I do love this & people seem to be getting such great shots with her

I'm tempted but I'm sure it won't be long before they tease her so perhaps I'll wait & see

Thanks for the info about Rebels as well
I'm definitely going to finish Clone Wars cartoon before I start on Ahsoka but I might read about the important Rebels episodes before I decide to watch that too

Thanks again for the input

I dunno, it feels like Filoni has made Ahsoka with the expectation that the audience is well informed and has a strong emotional attachment to all of the rebels characters as well as a deep understanding of The Clone Wars and all the new aspects of the lore that were introduced and expanded on in both shows.

If you only read about what happened in Rebels, you aren’t going to bond with the characters and trust me- you will want to have an established attachment to these characters before watching Ahsoka, because that show isn’t giving many reasons to invest in or root for anyone (comprised of biological material) yet.

You think well be having her 'other' versions as well? that would be a first for HT no? i mean for that scale (in case)

Is that the outfit that she wore at the end of Rebels? I hope the back is not tanktop style again.

I liked the white look. Hopefully HT does it with a new sculpt- at the very least the lekku need to be updated to match the improved costume.

Sorry just come back to this.

Thanks for your advice.
I'm going to stick out & wait until I've seen Rebels before I watch Ahsoka.
I'm currently fully invested in her & the Clone Wars series (on to season 3 at the moment) so I honestly want to go into watching her show with ALL the background in place.
I'm in no hurry to watch it so I'm just going to sit back & enjoy the ride until I'm ready & then I'll get the most from this too :)

Thanks again

Neil
