Watch your bone!

That pharmacy guy was gross,
But the grossest guy was the dad. Super creepy. Uncomfortable.

I saw the movie
Expected to see more clown. Not enough clown. I was extremely disappointed in that u dont see him too much.

I think he has the same screentime that the joker had in suicide squad.

The kids were great, absolutely great.
I almost wish this was a remake of the goonies and that it didnt have anything to do with IT.
The kids were awesome, their dialogue was funny. The bully was scary.

The creepy house was really great. Really creepy.
I loved the scenes on the house and the sewer.

Two things i really hated, flute, headless:

The flute lady and the none head boy were freaking stupid.
I truly hated bith of those. You are going to tell me that we didnt get the werewolf but we get a stupid *** flute lady and a crappy cgi headless *****???
The flute lady looked creepy, but what the hell did it had to do with anything... was that in the book???
They could have done anything... but they gave us the ghost from the mama movie ( i bet is the same design)

So stupid. Really really hated that

I really didnt mind that the movie was not horrific.
I didnt mind it at all. I had no problem with the lack of fear.
I just expected a little more clown

Flute lady was what the Jewish kid was afraid of. He hated that painting. They had to make some of the fears more tangible rather than metaphorical like Bevs fear of womanhood and her blossoming sexuality and how people view her.

The flute lady (Judith) was a replacement for the wolfman. She is not in the book...and it makes sense to some degree. I'm sure the idea was that they wanted something new, and not something so familiar as the wolfman. But creepy ghost woman is pretty dime a dozen...I thought the design was neat though. I've seen some paintings that gave me the willies and stuck in my mind. so it made sense to me on that level. The flute lady is actually played by a real actress, it's too bad they added a bit too much CGI to her face. She has a very unusual structure

The rest as others said, I too felt Pennywise had just the right amount. I do wish he spoke more, but what we got was so good.

Tim Curry did speak maybe a little too much, it got to the point where he wasn't scary, but it was more just entertainment. Enjoyable but not scary. To me at least

I wonder if studios are more comfortable with a cgi creature. Muschietti did some creepy af tests for Mama that were much scarier than the finished, heavily cg product.

I kinda wish it was him instead of the silly headless boy or it was him insteal of the flute lady.

I understand the movie was trying to build the story with the kids, build their character, i know he transfors a lot in the book but seeing how short the movie was it kinda needed more of him.

There were some scenes with the kids that gragged and could have been cut.

I dont know, the movie was good but it had structural and tone problems.

I'm pretty sure flute lady and headless boy are Pennywise.

Believe it or not, the headless boy was probably the only time I felt a legitimate scare.

For me, the movie was more Creepy/Freaky, I don't react very much to Horror movies. I had a reaction, which struck me as odd, but several points I had a big smile during the movie. I felt so self-conscious that I stopped smiling each time I noticed I was doing it. I think I just found the film so enjoyable, either that or I have emerging psychotic tendencies. :lol

I agree with Jye, any more Pennywise might have been too much.

I've seen it three times and the headless kid got a huge gasp each time. I thought it was a clever gag.

Personally I loved Pennywise sitting in the weeds while Mike was being bullied. Random stuff like that - IT just witnessing and savoring cruelty - is very much in the spirit if the book.

Ok that actress looks just like that damn painting now that **** is creepy lol

I loved her teeth yikes.

Sharp crooked teeth in gaping mouths creep me out. I guess that is why I love Shin Godzilla lol.

The headless boy was just too much jerky cgi but I liked it when he switched over to the clown.

There is no doubt that some set pieces in this movie can be considered some of the best horror ever put to film.

Thats what i mean, they could have added more moments like that without hurting the movie.

I feel like they had the right balance - I'm actually amazed that they balanced everything so well.

But the fact that you wanted more of it is a testament to the performance.

There are moments in the book where someone will just see the clown at a distance, completely out of place. I guess I would have liked to see that. But again it's amazing they adapted even half the book into an engaging 2 hour movie. The book sprawls so much you know the characters better than some of your relatives. I could describe Stan's future wife's prom dress to you, and how she felt about it.

I'm glad people agree that flute lady was freaking creepy. When she came back a second time that creeped me out.

Yeah. She creeped me out.

I really liked the initial shot of headless. When you just saw his legs...but you knew what was coming as soon as he took another step and still no face was shown. The egg drops were awesome though also "hey egg boy!" Haha. That was a very Tim Curry moment :lol
