Just happened to watch Dead Zone again last night, holds up very well, great movie.

While not a Great movie, Cujo seems to be forgotten by most people.

Lol no cujo is never forgotten. When people think of scary big dogs they think of cujo

I liked the book 11/22/63 mainly because of the IT stuff. But none of that is in the miniseries so I never bothered with it.

12.23.62 mini series is really good. Unfortunately not a lot of people seems to have watched it.
Absolutely loved the book. Read through it in one weekend.

Found the miniseries to suck pretty badly though. They changed almost everything and rushed through the 3 years (in the book I think it was 5) he spent in the past. At one point the main character mentions that he's already been there for two years and it really caught me off guard since there was no indication that he'd been there for more than a couple weeks.

Saw this today, it was good, but not great. They really wrapped things up with this one, which I wasn't expecting. I thought they would have tried to turn this into a series or trilogy at the least. This was more a one and done. :dunno

I would love to see HBO or some other network pick this up as a TV series and actually do all the books.

All of the King-Universe Easter Eggs were fun though.

Saw this last night. It definitely contained everything I loved about the book's title.

Whoo boy. I have no clue what the hell I just watched, but it sure ad heck wasn't The Dark Tower. This thing was a mess. It was poorly paced, did a crap job of setting up it's own mythology, they made Jake the main character, and Roland didn't even appear until about a half hour in. The classic start of the series "The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed" doesn't appear at all. Heck, there was barely even any desert in the movie. It was mostly woods.
There was barely a single thing at all kept from the book series.

Man, what a train wreck.

So for those that have read all the books, is there anything that could be considered spoilery for those that haven't? I'm still grinding through the last book and I'm about 1/3rd of the way through and don't want spoilers. Supposed to see it Wednesday and not sure I'll be able to finish the book in time.

Nothing overtly as this is really its own story. Probably a bit more of the first book than any of them. There are a few lines here and there that will make more sense to book readers, but they were throw away taunting to non-readers. So you're fine, but I would still push to finish before hand just so you get the full understanding of those little lines.

Actually I think the
Facility with all the ta-heen and breaker kids was technically only in the last book although they took creative liberties with them just being kids and that giant facility wasn't all ominous looking in the book (I'm right around the part where they find it in book 7

There were some neat nods in the film but overall this movie was bunk. I can't tell if it's because of how much I enjoy the books thst this just didn't do It for me or if it's just that bad of a movie. There were several parts in it that I thought to myself "why even bother having this in here?". And my god was that final battle just terrible.
