Steve Jobs has died

I remember seeing a picture of him shortly after he resigned, and I thought it wouldn't be long.

Its upsetting in a hard to explain way.

I remember writing basic code on Apple IIs back in 5th grade...we had to write code for the Lemonade Stand game from scratch. Helped that my 5th grade teacher was also my godfather. This was back in 85? 86? Too old to remember.

You got to use the high tech ones. I was using an apple II plus and started to use in like 2nd grade in very early 80s? Sometimes I wish it was still around along with first games I wrote in 5th and 6th grade.

Maybe it was a II plus...it's been so long I can't remember...I'm almost 38 if that helps any.

I just read an article about his life. He is being compared to Henry Ford and Walt Disney. Sounds about right.

Ford and Jobs certainly go together in the same sentence in that their products truly changed the way people live and interact. Disney made some nice cartoons.

R.I.P. Jobs! A man in our lifetime that actually changed the world more than once. We don't see people like this anymore and he will be greatly missed.

I always thought the guy was a major douche myself.

Character aside though, there's no doubt that he certainly made an impact on society. He's made more of a contribution than I'll probably ever make. Guess what I'm using right now to type this, a Mac.

Also he had pancreatic cancer, that's probably the most painful cancer a person could have and there's little chance of survival. At least he isn't suffering anymore.
